Clinical Observation Of Fuyuan Fangji Decoction In Treating Swelling And Pain Of Supination-External Rotation Type Ⅳ Ankle Fractures Before Operation

Objective:To observe and compare the difference between Fuyuan Fangji decoction and herb rhinoceros liquid extract tablets in the treatment of preoperative swelling and pain of supination type IV ankle fracture,and to explore the clinical effect of Fuyuan Fangji decoction.Methods:60 patients who were admitted to the orthopedic ward of the affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese Medicine from 2018.01 to 2019.09 were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group(Fuyuan Fangji decoction group)and control group(herb rhinoceros extract group),with 30 cases in each group.After admission,the treatment group and the control group were given routine examination and treatment,both of which were carried out on the same day.The treatment group was treated with Fuyuan Fangji decoction and the control group was treated with herb and rhinoceros liquid extract tablets.The ankle swelling value and NRS score of the patients were observed and recorded at the same time every day before treatment and on the 1 st,3rd,5th and 7th day of treatment.Results:1.In this study,a total of 60 cases were collected,including 30 cases in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group.The baseline analysis of the two groups at admission showed that there was no statistical significance in age,sex,location of injury,interval between injury and admission,swelling value,NRS score and so on.2.Compared with the swelling values of the two groups,the swelling values of all patients at different time points were different(P<0.05),and the swelling values of the two groups decreased gradually with time.The swelling values measured at different time points were different between the two groups,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).On the 1st,3rd,5th and 7th day of treatment,the average swelling value of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.There was significant difference in swelling value between the two groups(P<0.05).3.Compared with the NRS scores of the two groups,the swelling values of all patients at different time points were different(P<0.05).The NRS scores of the two groups decreased gradually with time.The NRS scores of the two groups were different at different time points,which was statistically significant.The average NRS score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group on the 1st,3rd,5th and 7th day of treatment.There was significant difference in NRS score between the two groups.Conclusion:1.Fuyuan Fangji decoction and herb rhinoceros liquid extract tablets can relieve the symptoms of preoperative swelling and pain of supination and external rotation type Ⅳ ankle fracture.2.Fuyuan Fangji decoction was superior to the control group in inhibiting the swelling and enlargement in the early stage and reducing the swelling in the later stage in the treatment of supination and external rotation type IV ankle fracture.3.The therapeutic effect of Fuyuan Fangji decoction on preoperative pain of supination and external rotation type IV ankle fracture in the initial and later stage was better than that in the control group.
