Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Male Infertility Due To Oligospermia And Asthenospermia By Tonifying The Kidney And The Spleen

Objective:The purpose of this research is to observe the clinical efficacy of tonifying the kidney and the spleen in the treatment of oligospermia and asthenospermia,and lay a foundation for further research.Method:Sixty patients who have completed the screening are randomly divided into test group(n=30)and control group(n=30).All patients receive routine semen examination and TCM syndrome score before treatment.The test group are treated with Buyu Qiangjing Decoction twice a day.The control group are treated with Qilin pill orally,once a time,6g and three times a day.Both groups are observed for 4 months,including 3 months of treatment,revisit once a month,and 1 month for follow-up caring.In both groups,semen routine examination and TCM syndrome score are performed at the 4th,8th and 12th week of treatment.After treatment,they are followed up by telephone to consult whether their spouses are pregnant or not.The data are recorded and statistically analyzed.Result:After 3 months of treatment,the total effective rate of the test group and the control group are 92.86%and 79.31%.In terms of the improvement of semen parameters(including density and motility),both the test group and the control group have significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the effect of the test group is better than that of the control group(P<0.05);in terms of the improvement of TCM symptoms,the effect of the test group is better than that of the control group(P<0.05),the symptoms are most obvious in the three groups:lassitude of spirit,lack of strength,and pale complexion.The pregnancy rate in the test group is higher than that in the control group.Conclusion:The method of tonifying the kidney and the spleen is effective in the treatment of Oligospermia and asthenospermia,which can significantly increase the sperm density and sperm motility.For the patients,the improvement of TCM symptoms is significant,with few adverse reactions and high safety of drugs.
