Clinical Effect Of Acupoint Application On Infertility Caused By PCOS Of Spleen And Kidney Deficiency Type

Objective:This study aims to observe the clinical efficiency and safety of Acupoint Application in the treatment of infertility caused by polycystic ovary syndrome and provide theoretical basis and new treatment methods for the treatment of PCOS infertility due to spleen and kidney deficiency,and promote the wide application of acupoint application and other external treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine in clinic.Methods:66 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome of spleen and kidney deficiency were selected from gynecology of clinic of Nanjing Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine in June 2019 to September 2020.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Two groups of patients were given three menstrual cycles of pretreatment.The treatment group was treated with tonifying kidney and spleen formula combined with acupoint application,and the control group was treated with tonifying kidney and spleen formula,3 months as a course of treatment.The TCM syndrome score,hormone levels(T,LH/FSH,LH,FSH),AMH,endometrial thickness,basal body temperature biphasic rate,ovulation rate,pregnancy rate of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and the final conclusion was drawn to evaluate the efficacy of Acupoint Application in the treatment of infertility caused by PCOS.Result:(1)Ovulation rate:after treatment,the ovulation rate of the treatment group was 57.47%,and the control group was 39.02%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),which means the treatment group was better than the control group in promoting ovulation.(2)Pregnancy rate comparison:after treatment,the pregnancy rate of the treatment group was 26.66%,while the control group was 13.33%,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).(3)Comparison of basic body temperature curve:after treatment,the biphasic rate of basic body temperature in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group.The difference was significant(P<0.05),which means the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the basic body temperature.(4)Comparison of TCM syndrome score:after treatment,the score of spleen and kidney deficiency in both groups decreased,but the score of treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group,there was significant difference(P<0.05).which means the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the symptoms of spleen and kidney deficiency.(5)Overall efficacy comparison:after treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,and that of the control group was 80%,there is no significant difference(P>0.05)(6)Comparison of serum sex hormone levels:after treatment,the sex hormone levels of the two groups were decreased.The treatment group in reducing LH,T,LH/FSH amplitude was greater than the control group,the difference was significant(P<0.05),which means the treatment group in improving the level of LH,T,LH/FSH was better than the control group.(7)AMH level comparison:after treatment,the AMH level of the two groups decreased significantly.But the AMH level of the treatment group decreased more significantly with significant difference(P<0.05),which means the treatment group is better than the control group in improving the AMH level of patients.(8)Endometrial thickness comparison:the endometrial thickness of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was significant(P<0.05).which means the endometrial thickness of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:the application of Acupoint Application in the treatment of infertility caused by PCOS of spleen and kidney deficiency type can reduce the clinical symptoms of patients with spleen and kidney deficiency,significantly improve the hormone level in patients,promote the growth of endometrium,promote the development and discharge of follicles,and improve the ovulation rate,with definite curative effect,no obvious adverse reactions and high safety.
