Clinical Study Of Bushen Huoxue Decoction Combined With Acupoint Application In The Treatment Of Psychogenic Erectile Dysfunction

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined with acupoint application in the treatment of psychogenic erectile dysfunction.Methods:Ninety patients with psychogenic erectile dysfunction(ED)who were diagnosed with pattern of kidney deficiency and blood stasis in the andrology clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into experiment group,Chinese medicine group and acupoint application group.There are 30 patients in each group.The experiment group was given Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined with acupoint application,the Chinese medicine group was given Bushen Huoxue Decoction,and the acupoint application group was given Bushen Zhuyang ointment acupoint application.Each group of patients treated for 6 weeks.Before and after treatment,the Intemational Index of Erectile Function 5(IIEF-5)score,TCM syndrome score,and Erection Hardness Score(EHS)were tested to evaluate the efficacy of each group.Results:The experiment group completed 29 cases,the Chinese medicine group completed 28 cases,and the acupoint application group completed 30 cases.In terms of clinical efficacy,the experimental group has the most obvious efficacy,with a total effective rate of 93.1%,which is higher than the two control groups,with statistical differences(P<0.05).The IIEF-5,TCM syndrome score,and EHS score of each group of patients were significantly improved before and after treatment.The experiment group improved the most significantly,with statistical differences(P<0.05).After treatment,the IIEF-5 of the experiment group was higher than that of the Chinese medicine group and the acupoint application group,the TCM syndrome score of the experiment group was lower than that of the Chinese medicine group and the acupoint application group,and the EHS of the experiment group was better than that of the traditional Chinese medicine group and the acupoint application group,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined with acupoint application has a significant effect on the treatment of psychological erectile dysfunction,and can effectively improve the patient’ s IIEF-5,TCM syndrome score,and EHS.The combination therapy is better than monotherapy.
