| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)for the prevention and treatment of postoperative pain in low perianal abscess, and to provide new methods and ideas for the prevention and treatment of postoperative pain in low perianal abscess. Methods: Sixty patients with low perianal abscess who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with postoperative conventional treatment with transcutaneous electrical stimulation of acupuncture points.Electrical stimulation was applied to the Xialiao,Chengshan, and Zhibian points for 30 minutes each time, once a day before daily drug exchange. In the control group, postoperative conventional treatment was used. Both groups started treatment from the first postoperative day,and the course of treatment was 7 days. The trauma pain score(VAS score),the duration of pain during the 7 days postoperatively were observed on the 1st,3rd,5th and 7th postoperative days in both groups. The data of each study were collated and data analysis was performed using SPSS 24.0 software.Results:1.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of gender, age, duration of disease, and pain score before treatment(P > 0.05).2.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of VAS score on the 1st postoperative day(P>0.05).There was a statistical difference in the comparison of VAS scores on postoperative days 3,5 and 7(P < 0.05).The scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group.3.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of pain duration on the 1st postoperative day(P>0.05).There was a statistical difference in the comparison of pain duration on postoperative days 3,5and 7(P < 0.05).The scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group.4.There was a statistical difference in the overall analgesic efficacy between the two groups(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%.The total effective rate of the control group was 83.33%.The analgesic efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.5.No significant discomfort and adverse effects were observed in all patients. Conclusion : TEAS can relieve postoperative trauma pain of low perianal abscess, reduce the duration of pain, and has the characteristics of analgesic safety and few adverse reactions. It can be used clinically according to the needs of patients’ conditions. |
