| ObjectiveIschemic stroke is one of the diseases with high incidence in China and the world, and aphasia is a common complication after stroke, which has a great impact on patients. The main treatment of the disease focus on the primary disease.Patients’ limb weakness and speech disorders after stroke are mainly improved through rehabilitation, and seldom pay attention on patients’ psychological changes in the treatment process. Therefore,it’s important to treat the symptoms of patients with post stroke Broca aphasia as well as their mental and emotional disorders effectively. This study aims to compare the clinical efficacy of JIN’s spirit regulation therapy and conventional acupuncture therapy in post stroke Broca aphasia, enriches the clinical protocols of treating the post stroke Broca aphasia, and provides theoretical basis for future clinical practice and experimental research.Methods78 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the therapy of regulating acupuncture group and conventional acupuncture group, with 39 patients in each group. The patients in two groups were admitted to the hospital for basic treatment of conventional western medicine and rehabilitation training, while the patients in the conventional acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture according to the Acupuncture and Moxibustion edited by Gao Shuzhong, and the patients in the regulating acupuncture group were treated with JIN’ s spirit regulation therapy, using Sishen needles,Temporal triple needles,Mental triple needles,Brain triple needles,,Hand mental needles,Foot mental needles and Tongue triple needles. The treatment course was 2 weeks. Before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment, two groups of patients were rated by Aphasia Battery of Chinese(ABC),Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination(BDAE),The Chinese Functional Communication Profile(CFCP)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,to evaluate the improvement of symptoms. Finally, data collection, arrangement and statistical analysis were performed in a unified manner.Results1.Two groups before treatment in patients with age, sex, course, the score of ABC,CFCP and HAMD were compared. The results shown there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),which indicated two baseline were comparable.2.After treatment, two groups’ score of ABC and CFCP increased significantly(P<0.001).The results showed that both of them could increase the score, however the increasing of the regulating acupuncture group was more significant in patients with post stroke Broca aphasia than the conventional acupuncture group(P<0.001).3.After treatment,BDAE was used to evaluate the effective rate of post stroke Broca aphasia, which indicated that regulating acupuncture was more effective than conventional acupuncture(P<0.05).4.After treatment, the score of HAMD in two groups were decreased, and had significance(P<0.001),which indicated that two kinds of treatment can reduce the Hamilton depression scale, and the therapy of regulating in improving post stroke Broca aphasia in patients with depression is superior to conventional acupuncture(P<0.001),and high efficiency.ConclusionCompared with the conventional acupuncture, the total effective rate of improving the symptoms of aphasia and reducing HAMD score were significantly higher in the regulating acupuncture. It indicated that the therapy of regulating acupuncture could improve the symptoms of post stroke Broca aphasia, also can effectively reduce the depressive state, which the curative effect is superior to conventional acupuncture. The comprehensive data showed that the therapy of regulating acupuncture had better effect on improving the aphasia symptoms and depressive state of patients with post stroke Broca aphasia, and the effect was better than that of the conventional one. |
