Clinical Observation On Sudden Deafness Treated By Fuyang Method

1.Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Fuyang method in treating sudden sensorineural hearing loss caused by the shenyang kuixu type,explore the difference in efficacy compared with the pure western medical treatment,observe the alleviation of symptoms of Fuyang method in treating the shenyang kuixu type of sudden sensorineural hearing loss,also the alleviation of other accompanying symptoms includes tinnitus and dizziness,in order to provide reliable clinical evidence and a better effective treatment method for patients suffering from the shenyang kuixu type of sudden sensorineural hearing loss.2.MethodThe inpatients were selected from January 2020 to December 2020 with the shenyang kuixu type of sudden sensorineural hearing loss in the department ENT of the first affiliated hospital of Anhui University of TCM.The selected 60 patients met the diagnostic criteria of both western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine and inclusion criteria were randomly chosen and equally divided into 2 groups--observation and control group.Each group included 30 cases.Both groups were treated with western medicine.In addition,the observation group was treated with qianyang fengsui dan,and the subtraction treatment was based on the symptoms.After 14 days treatment,should compared to the “Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Sudden Deafness” and the “Diagnosis and Curative Effect Standards of TCM Diseases”formulated by the Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association in 2015.The pure tone audiometry tests of the two groups should be tested in both before and after treatment and then compared.Also,the recovery points of accompanying symptoms should be collected.3.ResultsAfter the research,the treatment of the shenyang kuixu type of sudden sensorineural hearing loss by Fuyang method was more effective in observation group.The total effective rate of treatment in observation group was 83.33% while the total effective rate of treatment in the control group was 63.33%.The results show a statistically significant difference in the treatment effective rate between the two groups(P<0.05).In addition,the total effective rate of the innitus after treatment of observation group were76.92%,P<0.05,which is better than the control group treated by the western medicine only.4.ConclusionFuyang method is an effective treatment in curing the shenyang kuixu type of sudden sensorineural hearing loss.It can be applied as an effective treatment to improve the hearing recovery of patients.Otherwise,the vertigo and tinnitus accompanying symptoms can be alleviated and ameliorated.It is worthy of further exploration and popularization.
