Objective: To observe the temperature changes of Zusanli and Jiexi on both sides by acupuncture at the right Zusanli acupoints of Yang-deficiency and Balanced constitution youths, and to explore the effect of acupuncture at Zusanli on the temperature of related acupoints. It is clinical the application of the giant needling method and the research of acupuncture between different physiques provide a theoretical basis. Methods: 60 young subjects were enrolled,30 of them were Balanced constitution,14 were males and 16 were females, with an average age of 25.40±1.47 years old;30 cases of Yang-deficiency,17 were males and 13 were females, with an average age of 25.46±1.65 years old.The laboratory temperature is 26±1℃,and the relative humidity is 30±10%.A 0.35*40mm disposable acupuncture needle was used to directly puncture the subject’s right Zusanli point 1 to 1.5 inches. The subject exposed both lower limbs, and recorded 40 min,30min,20 min,10min,and 2min before acupuncture with an infrared thermal imager. The needle was retained for 2min,10 min,20min,30 min and 2min,10 min,20min,and 30 min after the needle was ejected on both sides of Zusanli acupoints. And the temperature of the Jiexi point on both sides.During the test, the subjects remained sitting still and did not use manipulation.Using IBM SPSS21.0 for statistical analysis, the difference was statistically significant with P<0.05.Results:1.Before acupuncture:(1)In the Balanced constitution group, the temperature of each acupuncture point showed a downward trend from 40 minutes before acupuncture to 20 minutes before acupuncture, and the temperature at each time point changed significantly(P<0.05).There was no significant temperature at each time point from 20 minutes before acupuncture to before acupuncture(P>0.05).20 min observation showed that the acupoint temperature reached a stable state before acupuncture.(2)In the Yang-deficiency group, the temperature of each acupoint showed a downward trend from 40 minutes before acupuncture to 10 minutes before acupuncture, and the temperature at each time point changed significantly(P<0.05).but there was no significant change from 10 min before acupuncture to each time point before acupuncture(P>0.05).the temperature of the acupoints observed 10 minutes before acupuncture reached a stable state.(3)When the skin temperature is stable, there is a very significant difference in the temperature of Jiexi on both sides of the Yang-deficiency group(P<0.01).The temperature of Jiexi point on both sides of the Yang-deficiency group was significantly lower than that of the Balanced constitution group(P<0.01).2.After acupuncture:(1)Balanced constitution group: Bilateral Zusanli acupoints and bilateral Jiexi acupoints showed a significant decrease in temperature at each time point from 2 min after needle retention to 30 min after needle discharge compared with 2 min before acupuncture(P<0.01).(2)Yang-deficiency group: The temperature at each point of Zusanli acupoints from 2 min to 30 min after needle discharge was significantly lower than that of 2 min before acupuncture(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The temperature at Jiexi point on the right side was significantly lower between 10 min after needle retention and 10 min after needle release compared with 2 min before acupuncture(P<0.05 or P<0.01).The temperature at Jiexi point on the left side was significantly lower between 30 min after needle retention and 10 min after needle discharge compared with 2 min before acupuncture(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The temperature of Jiexi acupoint in Yang-deficiency group is unbalanced, and the temperature of the acupoint is lower than that of Balanced constitution group.2.Acupuncture at Zusanli on the right can cause the temperature of Zusanli and Jiexi on both sides to drop, suggesting that the acupuncture effect has a "meridian-tracking" effect.3.Acupuncture at Zusanli on the right, causing temperature changes at Zusanli on the left, providing a basis for clinical application of the "giant needling method".4.The occurrence time of acupuncture effect in Yang-deficiency group is delayed and the time of acupuncture effect is shorter in Yang-deficiency group than in Balanced constitution group, which indicates that Yang-deficiency is flat and the movement of qi and blood is slow.
