Purpose: To understand the occurrence of anxiety in hospitalized cardiovascular patients in urban and rural areas, and to explore its related factors from four aspects: basic information, living habits, work and family, and auxiliary examinations of hospitalization.Method: Adopting the method of current situation investigation and research,1035 patients with cardiovascular diseases who were hospitalized in the four departments of cardiovascular medicine in Hebei General Hospital from April 2019 to November 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study. The selected patients filled out self-made questionnaires, and the content of the questionnaire included the basic information of the patients, living habits, work and family, access to the electronic medical record system for auxiliary examinations on admission. The Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7(GAD-7)and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)were used to evaluate anxiety and sleep quality of selected patients.Check the name of the main disease diagnosis of the selected patients in the electronic hospital record system. The selected inpatients with cardiovascular disease were divided into two major groups: urban and rural, including 658 patients in the urban group and 377 patients in the rural group.Statistics used general descriptive analysis,chi-square test and binary logistic regression analysis methods.SPSS(Statistical Product and Service Solutions)version 26.0 statistical software sorted and analyzed the data.Result: In 1035 hospitalized patients with cardiovascular diseases, the main diseases were diagnosed as coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure, etc, accounting for 46.5%,19.8%,13.0% and 3.6%.The overall anxiety incidence of inpatients with cardiovascular diseases in urban and rural areas was 19.4%.Among them, the anxiety incidence of inpatients in the urban group was 18.1%,and the anxiety incidence of inpatients in the rural group was 21.8%.There was no significant difference in anxiety incidence between the two groups(P>0.05).Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that,in the total population of urban and rural cardiovascular hospitalized patients, the factors related to anxiety of hospitalized patients were as follows: average number of hospitalizations per year(OR=0.52,95%CI 0.35-0.78,P<0.05),sleep quality(OR=0.52,95%CI 0.33-0.80,P<0.05),family health(OR=0.51,95%CI 0.34-0.75,P<0.05),work or life stress(OR=0.26,95%CI 0.15-0.45,P<0.05),life tension(OR=0.25,95%CI 0.13-0.47,P<0.05);Among the inpatients in the urban group, the factors related to anxiety of hospitalized patients were as follows: sleep quality(OR=0.50,95%CI 0.28-0.87,P<0.05),average number of hospitalizations per year(OR=0.43,95%CI 0.26-0.73,P<0.05),work or life stress(OR=0.40,95%CI 0.19-0.86,P<0.05),life tension(OR=0.18,95%CI 0.08-0.42,P<0.05);Among the inpatients in the rural group, the factors related to anxiety of hospitalized patients were as follows: occupation(OR=2.84,95%CI 1.28-6.31,P<0.05),gender(OR=0.46,95%CI 0.24-0.86,P<0.05),family health(OR=0.34,95%CI 0.18-0.67,P<0.05),work or life stress(OR=0.17,95%CI 0.07-0.40,P<0.05).Conclusion: The main diseases diagnosed in hospitalized patients with cardiovascular diseases included coronary heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, heart failure, etc.Among them, coronary heart disease accounted for the largest proportion. There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of anxiety among hospitalized cardiovascular patients in the urban group and the rural group. The factor that had the greatest impact on the anxiety of the total population of inpatients in the cardiology department in urban and rural areas was the average number of hospitalizations per year. The factor that had the greatest effect on the anxiety of inpatients in the urban group was the quality of sleep, the factor that had the greatest influence on the anxiety of inpatients in the rural group was occupation, the factor that affected the anxiety of inpatients with cardiovascular disease in both urban and rural groups was work or life stress.
