Objective: The breast ultrasonic types and clinically relevant data of women of appropriate age who participated in socialized breast cancer screening were compared with breast mammography types to construct a combined predictive model of breast mammography types in Chinese women,which provides a basis for the selection of diagnostic methods and the development of examination procedures for breast diseases in clinical practice.Methods:The clinical data and breast ultrasonic types of 1078 women who underwent breast cancer screening from August 2020 to December 2020 were included in this study,and the variables were analyzed univariately and multivariately using the chisquare test by SPSS 23.0.Prediction model 1 was constructed using R 4.0.3 based on patient clinical data,combined analysis of breast ultrasonic types and patient clinical data Prediction model 2 was constructed and nomogram were generated.The predictive ability of the models was evaluated by combining R 4.0.3 and STATA 15.0 to produce the calibration curves,calculate the area under curve(AUC)and the Akaike Information Criterion(AIC).Results: A total of 1078 eligible women were included in this study.Univariate analysis revealed that the clinically independent influences on breast mammography types were age,education,menstrual status(non-menopausal),exercise(yes),and history of benign breast disease(yes).The prediction model 1,which was constructed based on the patient’s clinical data alone,and the prediction model 2,which was constructed by combining the application of breast ultrasonic types with the patient’s clinical data,were constructed using the influencing factors(menstrual status(non-menopausal),physical exercise(yes),and history of benign breast disease(yes))derived from the multivariate analysis.The efficacy of model 2 was significantly better than that of prediction model1,indicating that the addition of breast ultrasonic types was very helpful in predicting breast mammography types in Chinese women.Conclusion: The predictive model of breast mammography types constructed by combining breast ultrasonic types with clinical information of the subject was more effective than that based on clinical information of the subject alone,indicating that the inclusion of breast ultrasonic types plays a crucial role in accurately predicting breast mammography types in Chinese women.Breast ultrasound should be a primary consideration in the selection of appropriate breast screening technology for women of appropriate age.In the future,a more comprehensive and accurate prediction model of breast mammography types can be constructed by further increasing the sample size,expanding the content of the questionnaire,and introducing the radiomics.
