AimThe paper aims to explore the effect of the Focused Solution Model on the overall well-being and life quality of patients after primary liver cancer surgery.MethodThis study used a quasi-experimental methods to research 120 patients with primary liver cancer diagnosed for the first time who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria from January to October 2020 from a tertiary first-class hospital in Hunan Province. The subjects from January to May 2020 were classified as the control group, and the subjects from June to October 2020 were classified as the experimental group. The sample size of the two groups was 60 cases each. The control group followed conventional nursing methods, and the experimental group performed conventional nursing + focused solution mode for compound psychological nursing. There were 5 steps in the focus solution mode:implemented one step per day, where the intervention time was30-40min/time.The intervention mode was face-to-face,one-to-one communication, and the target and the number of interventions were appropriately adjusted according to the actual situation. The researchers issued the General Well-Being Scale(GWB)and the Quality of Life Measurement Scale(QOL-LC V2.0)on the first day of admission to the intervention subjects and when the intervention was completed for scoring.SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used for input analysis. If it conforms to normal distribution, two independent sample t test were used between groups and paired t test was used within groups;if it does not conform to normal distribution,non-parametric test was used, where the test level a= 0.05.When P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant.Result1.Before the intervention(1)There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of intervention subjects in the overall well-being scale(GWB)of the various dimensions(P>0.05).(2)There was no statistical difference between the two groups of quality of life scales(QOL-LC V2.0)in each dimension(P>0.05).2.After the intervention(1)The GWB scores of life satisfaction and interest dimensions in the test group and the control group were 3.39±1.71 points and 0.14±1.96 points, respectively. The difference between before and after was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of GWB’s health concerns before and after intervention were 0.27±1.50 points and 0.12±1.59 points respectively, and there was no statistical difference between groups(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in GWB energy dimension,GWB depression or pleasant mood dimension,GWB control dimension of emotion and behavior, and GWB relaxation and tension dimension before and after intervention(P<0.05).(2)The quality of life scale(QOL-LC V2.0)test group scores for physical function dimension and psychological function dimension were22.63±4.91 points,17.27±4.05 points, and the control group scores0.41±4.18 points,-0.54±4.47 points. The differences within the experimental group were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The QOL-LC V2.0 symptom side effect dimension test group and the control group scored 0.93±2.45 points and 0.75±3.93 points, respectively. The difference within the group before and after the intervention was statistically significant(P <0.05),and there was no statistical comparison between the two groups Difference(P>0.05).The scores of QOL-LC V2.0 self-evaluation dimension test group and control group were23.88±10.78 points and 6.22±12.03 points, respectively. There were statistical differences between the groups(P<0.05).ConclusionThe focused solution model can effectively improve the overall well-being and quality of life of patients with primary liver cancer after surgery, and has certain clinical promotion value in the field of oncology.
