Synergistic Effect Of Acupoint Application Therapy On Chronic Prostatitis /chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome With Damp-heat And Blood Stasis:a Randomized And Double-blind Controlled Clinical Study

Objective: The application of acupoint application therapy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome with Damp-heat and Blood Stasis.By comparing the changes of symptoms and indicators before and after treatment,we explored the clinical synergistic effect of Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine on chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome with Damp-heat and Blood Stasis.We could preliminarily evaluated the efficacy of acupoint application,and provided a new method for the clinical treatment of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome.Methods: A randomized,double-blind,controlled trial was conducted to study the synergistic effect of acupoint application therapy on the improvement of clinical symptoms of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome of damp heat stagnation type.In this study,36 subjects were selected and randomly divided into two groups.The experimental group(Acupoint Application Group)was treated with Qianlieshutong capsule combined with Acupoint Application of traditional Chinese medicine,and the control group(placebo Acupoint Application Group)was treated with Qianlieshutong capsule combined with placebo acupoint application.The acupoints were Zhongji,Guanyuan,Sanyinjiao and Shenshu,twice a week,4 hours each time.The course was four weeks.The changes of NIH-CPSI score,TCM symptom score and EPS in the two groups before and after treatment were observed.The test data were statistically analyzed by SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.The NIH-CPSI score and TCM symptom score of the two groups were improved after 1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,and the experimental group was better than the control group at 2 weeks,3 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Both groups could not significantly improve the counts of leukocytes and lecithin bodies in EPS.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).3.In the experimental group,5 cases(29.41%)were cured,10 cases(58.82%)were markedly effective,1 case(5.88%)was effective,and 1 case(5.88%)was ineffective.The total effective rate was 94.12%,and the markedly effective rate was 88.24%.In the control group,1 case(5.88%)was cured,3 cases(18.75%)were markedly effective,10 cases(62.50%)were effective,and 2 cases(12.50%)were ineffective.The total effective rate was 87.50%,and the markedly effective rate was 25.00%.Conclusion:1.Acupoint sticking combined with Qianlie Shutong Capsule and placebo acupoint sticking combined with Qianlie Shutong Capsule are effective in the treatment of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome with Damp-heat and Blood Stasis.2.Acupoint sticking with traditional Chinese medicine combined with Qian lie Shu Tong Capsule can improve the clinical symptoms of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome with Damp-heat and Blood Stasis,and its effect is better than that of using placebo acupoint sticking combined with Qian lie Shu Tong Capsule.3.Acupoint Application of Chinese medicine has synergistic effect on improving the symptoms of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome.4.Acupoint application therapy of traditional Chinese medicine,as an external therapy with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine,is easy to operate and clinically effective.
