ObjectiveIn this study,we treated erythematotelangiectatic rosacea(ETR)with bloodletting and western therapy, and evaluated the clinical efficacy and recurrence rate of the two methods,so as to provide a basis for the clinical application of bloodletting in ETR.MethodsThrough randomized controlled method, divide 70 patients into two groups on average,35 each. The treatment methods of the treatment and the control group are bloodletting and Metronidazole Gel.Both groups were treated for 6 weeks.Observe the clinical symptom score,Skin Disease Quality of Life score(DLQI)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale score(HAMA)of two groups before treatment and after treatment of 6 weeks respectively. And observe the clinical symptom score of the patient afer three weeks of treatment. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two methods.Results(1)Baseline comparison: Compare the gender, age, course of illness, major clinical symptom score before treatment,DLQI score,HAMA score of the groups of subjects. The differences have no statistical significance(P > 0.05).Explain that the two groups can be compared.(2)Intra-group comparison: Both methods can significantly improve the facial erythema, burning, dryness, itching, and pain in patients with ETR(P<0.01).It can also definitly lower the DLQI and HAMA value(P<0.01).They can not obviously decrease the telangiectasia of the ETR patients(P>0.05).(3)Comparison between groups: The improvement of erythema, burning, itching, pain,DLQI and HAMA value of treatment group after treatment was better than control group(P<0.05).There is no difference between dryness and bloodletting(P>0.05).(4)Total efficient comparison: The total efficiency rate of the treatment group and the control group were 87.5% and 72.73%,respectively,which is statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Safety comparison: The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group and the control group were 6.25% and 9.09%,respectively,with no statistical difference(P>0.05).(6)Recurrence comparision: The recurrence rates in the treatment group and the control group were 10.71% and 37.5%,respectively,which is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion(1)Bloodletting and Metronidazole Gel can significantly relieve the major clinical symptom, quality of life and anxiety of ETR patients. But both methods have a poor effect on telangiectasia.(2)The bloodletting is better. The improvement of the major clinical symptom, quality of life and anxiety of ETR patients is better than Metronidazole Gel.The long-term effect of bloodletting on ETR is better.(3)Faster,safe and reliable bloodletting can reduce recurrence rates and simple operation, economy and benefits can be vigorously promoted clinically.
