| Hua Yue was a student of the Southern Song Dynasty.There are only a few words about him in the history books,but he is a remarkable person who runs the country.His book on miltary science,Mr Cui Wei’s Northern Expedition Record,is of great significance in the military history of the Southern Song Dynasty.This paper,based on the results of previous studies,tries to understand the ideological content of Hua Yue and his "Mr.Cui Wei’s northern expedition Record.The first part mainly introduces the background of Hua Yue’s book..After the establishment of the Southern Song Dynasty,the people of the Song dynasty hated the"jingkang shame" and were very dissatisfied with the humiliating position in therelationship between Song and Jin.The serious border conflict stimulated thescholars’academic purport and they turned theireyes to the study of military science,which made the Song Dynasty become a peak of the study of military science in China.The northern expeditionin of Kaixi provided profound experience and lessons for Hua Yue.The second part introduces the main story of Hua Yue’s life.Both of the edition,style and distribution about the bookThis paper introduces the ideological content of "Mr Cui Wei’s Northern Expedition Record",whose strategic view is mainly manifested as"careful warfare thought and taking bending as extension",The strategy of enhancing the military strength of the southern song dynasty was to seek talents,develop national defense,and strengthen armaments.Its tactical guidelines for Jin Dynasty.Including the "ride by vehicle","trap by vehicle",and value separation.We can know the similarities and differences between the military thought embodied in Hua Yue’s "The Recordation of Mr Cui Wei’s Northern Expedition " and Xin Qiji’s restoration strategy in his "Meiqinshilun" and "Jiuyi".Hua Yue’s military thought played aguiding role in the construction of the borderdefense system of the Southern Song Dynasty in the Song and Mongolian Wars. |
