The Chaoshan nursery rhyme contains a very rich folk culture and has a strong local flavor.It is an excellent way for children to learn local dialects and the local culture,and sublimate their deep feelings for their hometown.However,as the wave of online information has swept through,popular culture has been in fashion,different cultures have swarmed in,cultural integration is ongoing,cartoons and games have become the main ways for children to play.Chaoshan nursery rhymes are increasingly being forgotten by children,and some children have not even actually made available to them.The educating role of Chaoshan nursery rhymes in language and cultural enlightenment has not been given due play.On the other hand,the weak language foundation of vocational students,the deviation in the understanding and positioning of the Chinese curriculum,and the limitations of the teaching materials making the students feel disconnected from their careers and difficult to connect with their lives,seriously affects the development of vocational Chinese teaching,which in turn restricts students’ improvement of professional ability and professional quality.The Vocational Pre-School Education is an important training source of teachers for young children.Integrating Chaoshan nursery rhymes into the course of Chinese for Vocational Pre-School Education majors can enrich the contents of the language course teaching,make them interesting,shorten the distance from the students’ lives,and fit the professional training needs to enable students to accumulate knowledge of Chaoshan nursery rhymes,master professional skills,and improve professional qualities during learning the course of Chinese language,so as to prepare for better accomplishing their future job.This paper first reviews the current researches of the three aspects of the Chinese course teaching of Pre-School Education in vocational schools,application to Chaoshan nursery rhymes in education,and development of local dialect nursery rhymes teaching materials.It defines the concept of Chaoshan Nursery Rhyme,summarizes the characteristics of Chaoshan nursery rhymes and classify them by genre.A questionnaire survey was conducted for managers and teachers of different kindergartens to understand the current status of applying Chaoshan nursery rhymes in kindergartens in Jieyang area.Based on the analysis of the survey results,in view of the lack of teachers who are good at Chaoshan nursery rhyme teaching and lack of excellent Chaoshan nursery rhyme teaching resources in the kindergarten,this paper puts forward the view that we should strengthen the cultivation of teachers and the integrated development and utilization of Chaoshan nursery rhyme education teaching resources.It analyzes the teaching status of the Chinese course in the Pre-School education major of the vocational school from the aspects of student situation,teaching and evaluation,and the use of teaching materials,and points out some shortcomings.Then states the value of applying Chaoshan nursery rhymes in kindergarten teaching.From which it leads to the analysis of the relationship between the core literacy of the Chinese course and the professional ability training of the Pre-School Education majors,and the summary of the role of Chaoshan nursery rhymes to Pre-School Education students and the application value of Chaoshan nursery rhymes in Chinese language courses.It is concluded that Chaoshan nursery rhymes have a natural advantage in the training of students of Pre-School Education.While enhancing the core literacy of Pre-School Education students in Chinese,they also enrich the knowledge accumulation required for future work and improve their professional abilities.It is also proposed to apply Chaoshan nursery rhymes to the teaching of Chinese courses,focusing on the development and application of teaching resources,and attempt to develop Chinese school-based textbooks for Pre-School Education majors,basing on vocational post competence needs and applying them to the teaching of Chinese courses to serve the needs of vocational education reform.Then it elaborates the development of a school-based textbook Chaoshan Nursery Rhymes for Pre-School Education Majors from the three aspects of textbook positioning,principles,and main content,studies the textbook style construction,the textbook framework,and the content setting of the textbook,and makes a summary of application results.Finally,it explores from the perspective of curriculum teaching,introduces three teaching methods including the implementation of Chaoshan Nursery Rhymes for Pre-School Education Majors in the Chinese class,carrying out comprehensive language practice activities,and creating a nursery rhyme learning environment through using the regional corner,and supplies the design of “Beautiful Scenery of Chaozhou ”as a teaching sample.
