| With the development of Internet technology and the popularity of smart phones,the way for people to learn knowledge and obtain information is more intelligent and personalized.The fragmentary and fragmentary features of English vocabulary learning further promote the development and improvement of mobile learning software,which makes it possible for teaching and learning activities to be carried out around the Internet.In 2017,the Ministry of Education issued the "English curriculum standards for general senior high schools" which also clearly pointed out that "ordinary high school English curriculum should enrich curriculum resources and expand learning channels.In the process of curriculum implementation,we should pay attention to the construction of information-based teaching environment,give full play to the support and service function of modern educational technology for teaching and learning,and select appropriate digital technology and multimedia means to ensure that it is conducive to the effective learning of students and the formation and development of English core literacy.High school English vocabulary is an important part of high school English teaching,and is the cornerstone of listening,speaking,reading and writing.However,vocabulary teaching has long been faced with the dilemma of single teaching and learning methods and low efficiency.Therefore,it is of great significance to actively explore and innovate effective vocabulary learning methods.Based on multimodal discourse theory and Ebbinghaus memory forgetting curve theory,this study mainly uses the experimental method to explore the application effect of vocabulary learning software with Weici app as an example.90 students from 6classes and 8 classes of science parallel classes were selected as the research objects,including 46 students in class 6 and 44 students in class 8.In order to explore the influence of vocabulary learning software on different levels of students and the reasons for the influence,the author divided the experimental class students into three groups according to the pre-test results and the general learning results:A,B and C.Arepresents the high level,B represents the intermediate level,and C represents the low level.The experimental class used Weici app to learn vocabulary,while the control class used the traditional vocabulary learning method for one semester.Before and after the experiment,vocabulary and questionnaire survey were conducted in two classes.Finally,the data of the two surveys were collected and analyzed,and the experimental conclusion was drawn.The results show that there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in the dimension of vocabulary context discrimination,which indicates that the teaching method has a great impact on the effect of context discrimination,and from the average score,the score of the experimental class in the post-test is generally higher than that of the control class,indicating that the experimental method has improved the overall performance of Chinese English translation,English Chinese translation,context discrimination and English translation.All of them have good positive effects.Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey,the use of Weici app improves students’ interest in vocabulary learning,and students are willing to enhance their learning PK ability in Weici app class through continuous learning.However,some students’ enthusiasm and frequency of using Weici app have decreased in the later stage,which requires teachers to strengthen guidance and supervision in time,so as to improve students’ autonomy in vocabulary learning. |
