| With the continuous development of the net and information epoch,mobile devices and online learning methods are becoming more diversified.In 2020,under the COVID-19 epidemic,online learning will be upsurge nationwide.As a way of online learning,vocabulary learning software will be recognized and understood by more and more people with its convenience and individualization.It different from the traditional way of vocabulary memory,provides learners with a more interesting way of vocabulary learning by utilizing the advantages of multi-sensory cooperation.As an important content of English teaching,vocabulary always runs through the whole process of English teaching.As a critical period for vocabulary accumulation,high school stage not only puts forward requirements for the vocabulary of high school students,but also poses new challenges to teachers’ innovative teaching methods.Therefore,it is urgent to find a vocabulary learning method suitable for both "students’ learning" and "teachers’ teaching".As the first English vocabulary learning software in the total number of computer software downloads for education and teaching in China in 2020,Bai Ci Zhan APP has been listed as the most popular.This study selected two grade one classes(55 students in the experimental class and 53 students in the control class)from No.1 senior high school in M City as the experimental subjects,based on the the Ebbinghaus forgetting curve,information processing and other related theoretical foundations,test,questionnaire,interview and other research tools were adopted to try to answer the following questions:(1)Is it effective for high school students to use Bai Ci Zhan APP to learn English vocabulary?(2)Does the application of Bai Ci Zhan APP have any influence on the scores of high school students in dictation,part-of speech conversion,English-Chinese translation and Chinese-English translation?(3)What is the attitude of senior high school students towards using Bai Ci Zhan APP for vocabulary learning?Research indicates: It is effective for senior high school students to use Bai Ci Zhan APP to learn English vocabulary.Although there is no significant difference in vocabulary performance between the experimental class and the control class,there are significant differences in dictation,part of speech conversion and English-Chinese translation,and the total score of the experimental class is higher than that of the control class.High school students hold a positive attitude towards using Bai Ci Zhan APP for vocabulary learning and most of them think that vocabulary learning software can help them learn words better.Finally,based on the research results,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the effective use of Bai Ci Zhan APP. |
