| With the help of the Internet,online learning English also becomes a good way for learning.In view of this,the author conducts action research to explore the design of English online listening and speaking homework and to analyze the problems in the design.The author also explores ways to improve and design online homework to improve the students’ listening and speaking abilities,and to find out the effects of online homework design on students’ listening and speaking strategies.The author designs two round action research of online English listening and speaking homework in this thesis.The first round of the action research lasts eight weeks,which aims to explore the effects and the problems of English online listening and speaking homework.Based on this,the author makes improvements and redesigns in the second round of action research.In the second round of action research,the author adds corresponding solutions and more English listening and speaking strategies to effectively improve the effectiveness of online homework design,and to improve students’ listening and speaking abilities.The qualitative and quantitative data are analyzed through SPSS statistical methods,questionnaires,and teachers’ logs in this thesis.The results show there are some problems about online homework in the first round of action research.The problems are as following: students’ subjective initiative is not given full play;students do not use learning strategies in learning and so on.Based on these problems,the author combines the following strategies and principles to design English online listening and speaking homework in the second round of action research,such as increasing interesting homework types and repeating the learning strategies students have practiced.With designing more interesting homework with learning strategies and students practicing learning strategies repeatedly,the author finds that students’ listening and speaking abilities and learning strategy ability are improved.Among the changes of learning strategy abilities,the affective strategy ability be greatest improved.To a certain extent,this action research can be a reference to English online listening and speaking homework design in primary school to improve the students’ English listening and speaking abilities and learning strategy ability. |
