Nowadays,the globalization of economic knowledge and the common destiny of humankind have become increasingly significant.Economic,trade and cultural exchanges between countries have reached unprecedented levels of closeness.Language,as a bridge of cross-cultural communication,plays an indispensable and important role.The ultimate purpose of language learning is to communicate and communicate with the language learned.In the "Chinese English Proficiency Scale"issued by China in 2018,English listening comprehension and verbal expression skills at all stages of study are clearly divided and elaborated.The cultivation of English listening and speaking abilities has gradually become the non-negligible part of English teaching.However,the teaching of English listening and speaking in middle school still faces many problems.Such as single teaching content,boring teaching form,and lack of effective evaluation in large class teaching.At the same time,although all regions of China have explicitly included the listening test in the middle school entrance examination,the oral test is only held in Guangdong and Jiangsu.The lack of oral investigation in the middle school entrance examination has led to the lack of emphasis on oral teaching in middle school.The online learning platform,as an extension of information technology in the field of education and teaching,provides a new solution for teaching and study.Online learning platform includes plentiful learning resources,effective analysis and evaluation of teaching.Meanwhile it can track and record the complete learning process,and generate academic records.The integration of online learning and classroom teaching can effectively make up for the problems in traditional English listening and speaking teaching.In this study,the writer selected Ekwing,and combined with the characteristics of English listening and speaking teaching in junior middle school,a mixed English listening and speaking teaching process based on Ekwing was designed to improve middle school students' English listening and speaking ability.This research focuses on two questions:(1)Can the application of online learning platforms improve the English listening and speaking ability of middle school students?(2)Will the application of online learning platforms change the attitude of middle school students in listening,speaking and listening to English?Based on this,this research follows the logic which contains theoretical basis,process design,practical application and effectiveness analysis.First,this article elaborates the relevant theoretical basis through a large amount of literature collation and analysis.The core concepts of teaching are defined to provide a theoretical basis for the design of a blended teaching process based on the Ekwing.Secondly,according to the teaching system design and the theory of blended teaching curriculum design,the instructional design of the blended English listening and speaking course based on Ekwing was constructed.Then,a semester of experimental teaching was conducted with students from a class in the second grade of Xi'an Senior Middle School as experimental objects.Finally,by analyzing the data from the relevant questionnaires,ability tests the interview,the effectiveness of the blended English listening and speaking teaching based on the online learning platform is verified from the two dimensions of students' English listening and speaking attitude and listening ability.The experimental results show that:(1)the blended English listening and speaking teaching based on Ekwing can significantly improves the English listening and speaking ability of junior middle school students;(2)the blended English listening and speaking teaching based on Ekwing can make positive impact on junior high school students' listening and speaking learning attitudes.
