The Study Of Space Narration Of Ling Shuhua’s Novels

Ling Shuhua was a well-known female writer during the May 4th Movement.With her unique writing style and skills,she attracted the attention of the academic circles,and she was criticized as "Warm Ling Shuhua".Ling Shuhua is obsessed with the exploration of the narrative art of the novel.In her works,she examines the narrow and narrow living space of women and the insight into the pale and hopeless living state,which makes her novel narrative have a strong spatial charm.By combing the existing research results,it can be found that the research of Ling Shuhua’s novels focuses on women’s writing and children’s writing under the background of the "May 4th" era,and the research on Ling Shuhua’s novel creation and narration is mostly focused on.In terms of the narrative skills,narrative structure and narrative space of a single work,in general,there is less research on the overall space narrative in Ling Shuhua’s novels.Therefore,this article intends to start from the perspective of space narrative,and through careful reading of the text,try to explore the reasons for the formation of literary space in Ling Shuhua’s novels and the specific characteristics of the types and forms of space narration in the novel,and on this basis,further analyze space narration The theme connotation and aesthetic significance of the novel under the structure.This thesis is mainly composed of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The main body of the thesis consists of four chapters.The first chapter mainly uses the nourishment of life experience,the infiltration of literary tradition and the influence of new literature to have an overall grasp of the formation of the literary space of Ling Shuhua’s novels.From Ling Shuhua’s personal experience as a starting point,it traces the reasons why Ling Shuhua’s novels have spatial narrative features.The second chapter focuses on the narrative types of space in Ling Shuhua’s novels.Through close reading of the text,combined with the research of space narration by western scholars.We can classify the types of space narration in Ling Shuhua’s novels.It mainly starts from the three aspects of physical space,spiritual space and metaphorical third space,and fully demonstrates the unique and implicit space world in Ling Shuhua’s novels.The third chapter mainly analyzes the spatial narrative form of Ling Shuhua’s novels.Through reading works and consulting related materials,we extracted the three spatial narrative forms in his novels.In the same time and space,there is a horizontal juxtaposition structure where two things happen at the same time,which lengthens or shortens the time to cause the expansion and contraction of the space.The vertical contrast structure and the overlapping of space scenes form a closed circle structure that approximates a circular trajectory,and then discuss how the above three structures reflect the author’s narrative skills and theme ideas.The fourth chapter discusses the significance of space narration in Ling Shuhua’s novels.The social environment and life culture that Ling Shuhua lives in have brought her unique spatial sensibility and expressiveness.Therefore,she uses the family space on which women live as a window to examine the subjective inner world of women,revealing the narrow living space of women And a pale and hopeless state of existence.In the specific space writing,Ling Shuhua draws on the inner experience of women,and reconstructs it in a way suitable for female expression on the basis of it,forming a unique space narrative art with feminine spirit,whether it is the expansion of the character image,The deepening of the theme’s connotation and the enhancement of the aesthetic connotation have produced an important role in promoting,and the examination and thinking of women’s living space has also become more in-depth.
