| Extracurricular homework is a very important part of teaching activities.It is not only one of the important forms of students’ learning,but also a continuation and supplement of classroom teaching.It is the key link between classroom teaching and extracurricular learning.Efficient homework can cultivate students’ ability of independent thinking and independent learning.However,the present situation of the design of English homework in primary schools is not optimistic,especially the English homework of the senior students in primary schools,which also carries the task of helping the senior students to cope with the pressure of entrance examination.In order to stimulate students’ interest in learning and promote the development of students’ learning ability,it is necessary for teachers to make great efforts in homework design.The contents of this paper include the following aspects:First,the necessity of implementing stratified English homework design in senior primary school.The implementation of stratified English homework design is helpful to realize quality education,to promote teachers’ scientific teaching,to ensure the quality of classroom teaching,to ensure the development of students’ mental health,and to develop students’ academic level.It also is the need to enrich the theory of homework design.Second,based on the theory of multiple intelligence,humanism,constructivism,language output and interaction,the author finds out some enlightenment to the design of stratified English homework in senior primary school.First,the design form of homework should have more colorful forms.Second,the design of stratified English homework should be close to the life of students,and the difficulty of homework should be hierarchical.Third,teachers should take students as the center,emphasize cooperative learning and design some practical English assignments for students.Fourth,the design of stratified English homework should not only focus on students’ ability to write,but also emphasize the balanced development of listening,speaking and reading.Third,the present situation of stratified English homework design in senior primary school.Combined with the author’s thinking on the design of stratified English homework in the senior grade of primary school,the author designed an interview outline for teachers and a questionnaire for teachers,and conducted interviews and questionnaires for 11 teachers and more than150 students in their schools.The collected questionnaire data and interview results are sorted out to summarize the current situation of hierarchical English homework design in senior primary school.Fourth,the problems and causes of stratified English homework design in senior primary school.the author designed and compiled a questionnaire on the current situation of English homework in primary schools and an outline of interviews with teachers.Through the investigation and the analysis of homework texts,the problems existing in the design of English homework in primary schools were found,and look for the reasons behind this problem.Fifth,the solution to the problems existing in English homework in senior primary school.The author divides the research object into three groups of A、B、C in the course of the research.It is proved that the layered English homework design can effectively promote the improvement of pupils’ English learning ability.And to ensure the realization of hierarchical English homework design in senior primary school to provide a few guarantees.It includes the following three aspects: first,teachers should consciously improve their theoretical literacy and change their educational concepts;second,school security provides a good working environment for teachers to design stratified English homework;third,Society should mobilize all forces to reach consensus from all walks of life. |
