A Study Of "Ni Zhidao" Discourse Markers

This paper mainly introduces a kind of discourse markers based on "Ni zhidao".The research objects include: "Ni zhidao","Ni zhidao ma/ba" and "Ni bu zhidao".Use the "three planes" analysis method to describe the synchronic performance of each discourse marker in detail,and use the comparison method to compare the other three discourse markers with "Ni zhidao".This chapter is divided into five parts:The first one is an introduction,mainly introduces the related research of on the "Ni zhidao" category of discourse markers.It draws on previous research theories of discourse markers and summarizes the current research status.We find out that the "Ni zhidao" meets the conditions of discourse markers,And introduced their research status,theoretical basis,research significance and research methods,etc.The second part mainly introduces the discourse marker "Ni zhidao".Through the collection and collation of corpus,we mainly describe and analyze from the aspects of syntactic position,usage pattern,conversational semantics,meta-pragmatic function and evolution process.The third part mainly introduces the discourse marker "Ni zhidao ma/ba".Because the "Ni zhidao ma" structure is similar to the "Ni zhidao ba" structure,we will discuss the two together.They are basically the same in syntactic position and usage mode.Conversational semantics and meta-pragmatic functions both have the same characteristics and have their own characteristics.In addition,"Ni zhidao ma/ba" also experienced four stages of syntactic evolution,the continuous decategorization of verbs,implicit replacement of sentence components,and the blurring of semantics,the process of pragmatic subjectivity and interactive subjectivity.We also conducted a comparative analysis of "Ni zhidao ma/ba" and "Ni zhidao",and found that the three have both the common features of this type of discourse mark,and also show each their own unique characteristics.The fourth part mainly carries on the detailed synchronic description to "Ni bu zhidao"."Ni bu zhidao" as a product of the re-categorization of "Ni zhidao" has its particularity.Syntactically,it discusses its syntactic position,usage patterns and variant forms.Semantically,it discusses its unique conversational semantics.In terms of meta-pragmatic function,it is described from the perspective of textual coherence and interpersonal communication.Focus on discussing its evolution process and evolution path.And with the comparison method,analyze in detail the similarities and differences between it and "Ni zhidao".The fifth part is the conclusion.Based on the analysis and comparison of the previous articles,the general characteristics of the discourse markers of "Ni zhidao" category and the individual differences of its members are summarized.
