The Study On The Comparison Of Phonology Of Puxian Dialect

The academia has widely concerned Puxian dialect which is a sub-dialect of Min dialect.The research results are fruitful in recent years,especially in grammar.However,there are few works about the internal phonetic comparison of Puxian dialect,and the research is not comprehensive enough.In terms of content and length,most of these works have less content about phonetic comparison,and the content reflecting phonetic differences is relatively scattered;in terms of dialect point selection,many works only compare two dialect points,which is difficult to show the similarities and differences within Puxian dialect for us,or some works have less coverage and are not representative;in terms of comparison content,there are more Several works focus on comparing the differences of different places,without internal comparison and comparison with the surrounding homologous dialects,the common features of Puxian dialect are extracted.In view of the above problems,this paper focuses on the phonetics of Puxian dialect from the synchronic and diachronic aspects.In the synchronic aspect,based on the field survey,this paper describes the phonological system of the main dialect points in Puxian dialect area,discusses the phonological characteristics and internal main differences of Puxian dialect item by item,and shows the geographical distribution of some internal differences by dialect map.In addition,through the investigation of two Puxian dialect points in Fuzhou,this paper discusses the influence of Eastern Min Dialect on Puxian dialect in Fuzhou.In the aspect of diachrony,this paper compares Putian City and Xianyou City dialect with the Middle Ancient Chinese in three aspects of sound,rhyme and tone,and makes a preliminary discussion on the possible phonetic changes in the early stage of Putian dialect and the formation process of part of the vowels of the front round lips.In addition,this paper makes full use of the Bible translation left by modern missionaries to discuss the problem of Yangru in Roman phonology,and further arranges the Bible text into homophonic vocabulary attached to the appendix.In addition,according to the arguments in the previous works and the related dialect facts,the so-called "Puxian dialect is transitional" in the previous works is still questionable.
