| Gender is the basic attribute of human beings, and it affects human behavior all the time.Exploring ancient human society is bound to be unable to ignore the existence of gender. However,in our research, neglect or bias of gender issues is common. When it comes to gender studies,it is easy to neglect women, simplify gender issues, and selectively use materials or simple statistical methods.Gender research is not a simple classification of population. It involves the ancients’ concept of gender issues, the differences between biological gender and Ethnological gender, the relationship between gender and identity, the relationship between gender and social complexity, and the impact of gender roles on family and state relations. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a special and in-depth study on it.Because the tombs not only provide the bones that record the physiological gender information of human beings, but also retain the funerary objects that indirectly reflect the living conditions of human beings,so the analysis of tombs is the basis of gender research. We can analyze the tombs from the perspective of gender in order to explore the social features reflected in the remains of various sites. In the specific research, taking gender archaeology as the theoretical basis can prevent the influence of preconceived ideas such as male vision and gender opposition;taking quantitative archaeology as the research method can prevent the subjective judgment of archaeological materials in the process of research and the first object in the process of reasoning. The specific analysis process is based on the human bone gender identification materials provided in the reports of xiawanggang in Xichuan,Liuwan site in Yunxian, excavation report of Neolithic site in Longgang temple, collection of archaeological reports in Shaanxi, and the third excavation of Daxi site in Wushan, which are roughly in Yangshao period.Chi square test,Fisher test and binomial distribution are adopted Hypothesis test and other related probability statistical methods are used to analyze the correlation between the burial style, daily necessities, tools, ornaments, animal bones and the gender of the tomb owner. The analysis results of the early and late periods of a single site and the analysis results of different sites in the same period are compared. It is also accompanied by new methods such as image analysis, living space analysis under the guidance of National Archaeology, and tomb layout analysis from the perspective of situational archaeology. These analyses can provide us with a more effective way to observe the social features of the middle reaches of the Han River and its surrounding areas in the Yangshao period and the development and change process between about 5000 BC and 3300 BC from the perspective of gender. |
