| Currently,teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages is in the ascendant.Among the many Chinese Volunteer Programs for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language,CPIK program is different from others.What’s special about this program is its team teaching,that is ChineseKorean teachers’ cooperative teaching.It is rarely applied to foreign Chinese teaching in other countries but it is widely used in Korean primary and secondary schools’ Chinese classes.By analyzing the overall situation of the teaching efficacy of volunteer Chinese teachers in South Korea under the collaborative teaching mode,problems can be found,and strategies to further improve the sense of teaching efficacy in the collaborative teaching mode can be better found.All the above research work will help more volunteer Chinese teachers in Korea continue improving the quality of Chinese teaching under the collaborative teaching mode and provide a useful reference for improving the overall quality of international Chinese teaching.For this purpose,this paper takes Chinese volunteer teachers to South Korea under the collaborative teaching model as the research object,and uses literature combing,questionnaire survey,quantitative analysis and semi-structured interview methods to comprehensively investigate the status quo of the teaching efficacy of Chinese volunteer teachers.And then based on the survey results to explore the influence factors of volunteer teachers’ sense of teaching efficacy and put forward targeted suggestions to improve teaching efficiency.This article first compiled a questionnaire on the teaching efficacy of Chinese volunteers in South Korea under the cooperative teaching mode.Then tested the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and determined that the questionnaire had 32 items and 7 dimensions finally.Through the statistical analysis of the questionnaire data,the following conclusions are drawn: Firstly,the teaching efficacy scale of volunteer Chinese teachers to South Korea under the collaborative teaching mode is mainly composed of cross-cultural communication awareness and the adaptability of the collaborative teaching mode,teaching awareness and operation Consciousness,personal teaching ability identity,job identity,emotional experience of teaching work,teaching control and professional intentions,and negative teaching emotions.Second,under the collaborative teaching mode,volunteer Chinese teachers to South Korea have a higher sense of teaching efficacy overall.Third,gender,educational background,professional background and experience of teaching Chinese as a foreign language before taking up the post have no significant impact on volunteer teachers’ teaching efficacy.Fourth,the collaborative teaching model has no significant impact on volunteer teachers’ sense of teaching efficacy,but it shows significant differences in the emotional experience of teaching work.The overall high sense of teaching efficacy of volunteer teachers under the collaborative teaching model does not deny that there are problems in the process of cooperative teaching between volunteer teachers and Korean native Chinese teachers.For example,the allocation of teaching tasks is unreasonable,the role of volunteer teachers is fuzzy,and different teaching concepts cause conflicts,etc.Volunteer teachers should face up to reality,adopt appropriate methods and strategies such as strengthening the awareness of "collaborative teaching",strengthening communication,and focusing on teaching reflection,proactively solve existing problems,maximize personal teaching effectiveness,and effectively protect the effectiveness of Chinese teaching in Korea.And thus promote the development of international Chinese language education. |
