The Research And Creation Of Chinese Painting On City Theme

Chinese painting contains the rich connotation of traditional Chinese culture.The ink language not only describes the natural objects but also expresses the artist’s mental image.Up to now,it has evolved into a variety of expression ways.This paper through the natural mountains and rivers to the evolution of urban theme and landscape city to city to explore two clues lead city themes in traditional Chinese painting,second city theme development stage of Chinese painting,the author of modern and contemporary urban subjects of Chinese painting is divided into sprout,exploration,establishment,development,it discusses the four period,and then sums up the urban theme six major characteristics of Chinese painting,That is,content selectivity,brush and ink contemporary,spirit transmission,color freedom,style difference,expression diversity,and through the example to discuss the possibility of the establishment of these six characteristics.Finally,the author will combine his personal understanding of Chinese paintings on the theme of city for graduation creation,and elaborate on the creation process and meaning of his graduation works "City Impression" and "Urban glimpse".
