| Chinese custom culture is formed by the Chinese people’s creation and inheritance of the customs and habits in daily social life.It is an important part of Chinese culture.In international Chinese education,teachers of Chinese teach Chinese custom culture not only to promote Chinese culture,but also to enable learners of Chinese to improve their level of Chinese and intercultural communication ability through understanding and mastering Chinese custom culture.Experiential teaching is one of the teaching methods of culture teaching,which aims to guide students to acquire knowledge and finally form their own ability by creating a specific teaching situation.How to apply experiential teaching to custom culture teaching is the focus of international Chinese education.In view of the fact that there are few related studies that closely combine custom culture teaching with experiential teaching in the existing literature,this has become the focus of this paper.This paper first summarizes the relevant connotation of experiential teaching and custom culture teaching,and explores the application mode and value of experiential teaching in custom culture teaching,so as to obtain the theoretical basis for the design of custom culture experiential teaching.In order to understand the knowledge and understanding as well as the learning interest of the international students towards the custom culture and the current situation of the custom culture teaching,the author takes the international students(n = 45)and the Chinese teachers(n = 3)of Shaoxing University as the survey objects,and conducts an empirical investigation by using the methods of a questionnaire survey and interviews.Based on the existing theory and practice,the author conducts a front-end analysis of the custom culture experiential teaching design.Then,the author takes Moran’s cultural experience teaching mode as the theoretical basis and designed two custom culture experiential teaching plans to be experimented in two different types of Chinese comprehensive course and culture course.Finally,the author reflects on the teaching design case plans,and puts forward relevant teaching suggestions of teachers’ self-qualification,classroom teaching and the cultivation of international Chinese education talents in universities,hoping to provide useful references for international Chinese educators and researchers. |
