| The two constructions “x is geng w than y”and “x is hai w than y”in Chinese comparative sentences are difficult for foreign students to acquire. The frequency with which students use them also ranks high in comparison sentences. In this paper,we collect the error data of two sentence patterns from the HSK dynamic composition corpus and the global interlanguage corpus,at the same time,we also conduct a questionnaire test on two constructions’ errors to supplement the corpus of errors, and make statistics and analysis of the errors collected. The results show that the error of conclusion is the most, the error of comparison is the second, and the error of comparison mark is the least. In the conclusion errors of these two constructions, the adverbs “geng”and “hai”have the most errors and the largest proportion. There are many problems in the usage of adverbs “geng”and “hai”,and the basic semantic meaning of the two constructions is not clear to the foreign students, they often mix the two constructions.Based on the statistics and analysis of the types of errors, this paper summarizes the reasons why foreign students make errors in the acquisition of the two constructions, there are a few points: the incorrect use of adverbs and verbs in the target language;the improper arrangement of the two constructions in the textbook, and the avoidance of the learning and use of the two constructions. On this basis, this paper puts forward some teaching suggestions from the compilation of teaching materials, teaching by teachers and students themselves, and this paper also writes about Instructional Design of the two constructions,it focuses on the explanation of the basic semantic meaning of the two constructions and the differentiation of the two constructions, hoping to be helpful to the teaching of “x is geng w than y”and “x is hai w than y”sentence patterns in the Chinese as a foreign language. |
