Research On The Style Of Mendelssohn’s Piano Fantasia

Mendelssohn was one of the representative musicians of the nineteenth-century German Romantic period,and he composed music in numerous genres during a short and brilliant life.The piano fantasy music works while retain the traditional classical music style at the same time,from the creative skills and genre structure further enrich and development,and romantic lyric,fantasy,autobiographical perfect combination,formed a unique music style,its creation of the German romantic music and even the whole western music has had a profound influence.In addition to his attainments in the music field,Mendelssohn’s landscape skills are no less than music,and Wagner called Mendelssohn a“landscape painter composer”.Mendelssohn showed his talent for painting as early as his childhood,drawing more than 300 paintings in his short life,and his paintings have also had a profound influence on musical creation.This paper studies the ontology of piano fantasy music,aims to explore the combination of inheritance and originality,and compares his paintings and piano fantasia,discusses the profound influence of painting on his music creation,and provides the basis for further studying his music works.
