With the development of the tobacco industry factories,The State Tobacco Monopoly Administration clearly put forward the high-quality development strategy of "136" and "345" brands in July 2019.According to the requirements of the meeting,cigarette factories are required to earnestly implement the spirit of the national Tobacco Work Conference in 2020.The meeting required all factories should set the clear target,make continuous improvement schemes,plans and efforts in improving the management of the basic level.Through the comparison with advanced factories,the results show that in GY cigarette factory,the equipment management is relatively weak and it ranks in the middle of the factories list.Therefore,how to improve the production efficiency and comprehensive efficiency of equipment has become the target of GY cigarette factory.Based on TPM related theories,the current situation of equipment management in GY cigarette factory has been comprehensively analyzed in this paper.This paper found the reasons and tried to improve equipment management in GY cigarette factory by introducing TPM theory.From the analysis we knew the mess of produce environment,operators lack of awareness of preventive maintenance,higher capital of spare parts storage are the weakness of GY cigarette factory.In order to solve these problems,GY cigarette factories organize a TPM activities team,this team set up lots of challenging improvement objectives,formulated the standardization of equipment management system and incentive mechanism and treated 5S and visual management as a breakthrough point.This team tries to encourage all the employees to participation and production maintenance work.Then they carries out equipment spot inspection,independent maintenance activities,trying to improve the turnover rate of spare parts,rationalization proposals and other activities to fully implement TPM activities.Finally,through the implementation of TPM equipment management,GY cigarette factory fully mobilized the active participation of all employees,strengthened the concept of equipment management of all employees,improved the comprehensive efficiency of equipment,and reduced the waste of equipment spare parts,bringing huge benefits to the factory.
