In recent years, the number of coal mine safety accidents in China is gradually decreasing, but the situation of coal mine safety production is still grim, and coal mine safety accidents still occur frequently.Relevant studies show that the unsafe behavior of miners is the main cause of coal mine safety accidents. The research focuses on the influence of the typical antecedent variable of leader-members exchange differentiation on the unsafe behavior of miners, which is of great significance to effectively reduce the unsafe behavior of miners and curb the occurrence of coal mine accidents in China.Based on the social exchange theory, affective events theory and social comparison theory, and combined with the actual situation of coal mining enterprises, this paper conducts relevant research on the influence mechanism of leader-members exchange differentiation and the unsafe behavior of miners. The specific research conclusions are as follows:⑴The relationship between leader-members exchange differentiation and miners’ unsafe behavior is expounded. On the basis of case analysis and literature review, this paper conduct semi-structured interviews with miners to obtain basic information about the characteristics of unsafe behaviors and influencing factors of miners. It is determined that leader-members exchange differentiation is the key influencing factor of miners’ unsafe behaviors, and the relationship between leader-members exchange differentiation and miners’ unsafe behaviors is analyzed.⑵A model of the influence mechanism of leader-members exchange differentiation on miners’ unsafe behavior is constructed. On the basis of the above research results, the relationship among leader-members exchange differentiation, negative emotions, work engagement, interpersonal trust and unsafe behavior is analyzed.Based on theoretical analysis and existing studies, the research hypothesis was proposed, and a theoretical model was constructed in which the leader-members exchange differentiation is taken as the independent variable, the miner’s unsafe behavior as the dependent variable, the negative emotions and work engagement as the mediating variables, and the interpersonal trust as the moderating variable.⑶The internal mechanism of leader-members exchange differentiation affecting miner’s unsafe behavior is revealed. On the basis of the research hypothesis and theoretical model, the mature questionnaires at home and abroad were modified and designed in combination with the Chinese situation and the language habits of miners, and the questionnaire survey was conducted for front-line miners.SPSS26.0,AMOS24.0 and HLM6.08 software are used to analyze the questionnaire data. The results show that: leader-members exchange differentiation positively affect the unsafe behavior of miners;negative emotions plays a mediating role in the influence of leader-members exchange differentiation on miners’ unsafe behavior.work engagement plays a mediating role in the effect of leader-members exchange differentiation on miners’ unsafe behavior;negative emotions and work engagement play a chain mediating role in the effect of leader member exchange difference on miners’ unsafe behavior.Interpersonal trust moderates the relationship between leader-members exchange differentiation and negative emotions.⑷The countermeasures to control the unsafe behavior of miners are put forward.According to the above research conclusions, this paper analyzes the control ideas of miners’ unsafe behaviors, and proposes specific strategies to control miners’ unsafe behaviors from the perspectives of leader-members exchange differentiation, negative emotions, work engagement and interpersonal trust. There are 4 figures,17 tables and 151 references in this paper.
