| The development of animal husbandry is an important indicator of agricultural development in Henan Province,and also one of the important pillars of agricultural development in Henan Province.It can not only provide various livestock products to meet people’s needs,but also effectively promote the development of planting and industry in Henan Province,making the agricultural structure more reasonable,forming a virtuous cycle between industries,thereby promoting the rapid development of the rural economy in the province and increasing farmers’ income.However,with the rapid development of animal husbandry,the feces produced by aquaculture not only pollute the atmosphere,soil,and rivers,but also pose a threat to human health.Nanyang City is a major animal husbandry city in Henan Province,with a large scale of animal husbandry and a strong level of industry development.Its fecal pollution is becoming increasingly serious,making it difficult to absorb.Therefore,achieving the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure is an inevitable choice for the green and sustainable development of agriculture and animal husbandry in Nanyang City,and it is also an important task for the governance of agricultural and rural ecological environment.It has important practical significance for promoting the development of the province’s aquaculture industry and ecological construction.The implementation subject of livestock and poultry manure treatment is the farmers,and their manure treatment methods directly affect the effectiveness of pollution control in livestock and poultry breeding.In order to control pollution from the source,this study comprehensively investigates the resource utilization of household manure in Nanyang City,explores the current resource utilization methods and impact mechanisms of household manure,and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,in order to provide a scientific theoretical basis and feasible policy recommendations for the treatment and management of livestock and poultry manure in Nanyang City.This study conducted a field survey in Fangcheng County,Dengzhou City,Tanghe County,Neixiang County,Sheqi County,Wolong District,Xinye County,and Wolong District of Nanyang City in the form of a survey questionnaire.A total of 347 valid questionnaires were collected,depicting the environmental regulations of the aquaculture industry from three dimensions: "command oriented","incentive oriented",and "guiding oriented",And the multivariate probit model is used to empirically explore the impact of multi-dimensional environmental regulation on the choice of farmers’ feces recycling,so as to expand the existing relevant research and provide reference for the feces recycling of livestock and poultry breeding industry in China.The research results indicate that: firstly,the utilization of manure resources by farmers has diversified characteristics,but still relies mainly on fertilization and energy utilization.Secondly,different types of environmental regulations have a significant impact on the selection of energy and fertilizer treatment methods for livestock manure,but their impact effects also vary.Overall,the impact of command based and incentive based environmental regulations on the selection of manure resource utilization methods by farmers is stronger than that of guidance based environmental regulations;Third,among the many control variables,the scale of breeding,the identity of party members or village cadres,the number of years of breeding,breeding income,risk preference,the degree of environmental harm caused by feces,and farmers’ understanding of the effects of feces recycling also have a significant impact on the selection of farmers’ feces recycling methods.Based on this,it is necessary to enhance ecological and environmental protection publicity,strengthen top-level design standards,increase environmental policy incentives,and improve the effectiveness of manure resource utilization by farmers. |
