| With the rapid development of the economy and society,people need to do more in a limited amount of time.Whether it’s for work,traveling,or visiting patients,they will encounter times when they have to carry meals with them,and taking meals with them has become a trend.Traditional meal box products have single function and vague user orientation,leading to poor user experience.The paper starts from the modularity principle,rationalizes the design for the needs of the crowd,and explores multi-module and multi-functional lunch box design with sterilization and heating as a whole.Meet the needs of different people in different environments,provide convenience for users’ life and create a good dining experience.The paper provides a systematic review of the modular design principle and the current situation and development trend of multifunctional products.The current status of research and research results related to modular design are explained,the modular design process and methods are analyzed,and the characteristics of current meal boxes are summarized and analyzed by investigating the competing products of domestic modular-related products,and the meal box products are divided into different modules according to their functions.The main user groups are classified,the user needs are summarized through questionnaires and user observation,and the target users are selected for interviews to obtain the functions of the meal box products.At the same time,the existing lunch box products and technical functions are sorted out,and an attempt is made to develop a multi-functional lunch box product with several modules in one.The paper analyzes the design points of the lunchbox products from various aspects,etc.,and completes the combination design of modular multifunctional lunchbox products through concept sketching,3D modeling,and rendering.This research adds a new design form for lunchbox products,expands the application field of modularity,and provides reference for future modularity-related product design. |
