Oil is an important strategic resource,which has deeply influenced and changed the whole world since it came out.In the sixties and seventies of the 20 th century,the international oil market experienced a severe shock,and then entered a long period of stable adjustment,and the global oil production,reserves and trade volume all showed a steady growth trend.However,the oil industry is not only a major producer of production capacity,but also a major energy consumer.Because of the characteristics of high freezing point and easy volatilization at high temperature,the annual cost of thermal insulation of oil storage tanks and the volatilization and waste of oil and gas resources due to inadequate thermal insulation measures are quite astonishing,and the traditional thermal insulation technology has certain disadvantages.for example,the roof of the floating roof tank is unable to carry out thermal insulation treatment,the material is easy to absorb water and corrode the tank wall,the performance continues to decline for a short service life,and so on.Therefore,the research on thermal insulation technology of oil storage tank is of great significance.In this paper,based on the existing polyurethane three-layer system and the information of primer,intermediate paint and topcoat,the core materials "thermal insulation filler" and "infrared reflection filler" which affect the performance of thermal insulation are optimized.the thermal insulation coating system of oil storage tank was developed,and the detailed formula ratio of new thermal insulation coating primer,intermediate paint and topcoat was obtained.The properties of the coating such as hanging,adhesion,impact resistance and salt fog resistance are tested,and a third party test report is issued.It is proved that the performance of the coating system meets the requirements of Q/SHCG 18014-2017 "Technical conditions for anticorrosion of floating Roof Crude Oil Tank".At the same time,it meets the requirements of anticorrosive coating and heat reflection coating in GB50393,and has excellent thermal insulation performance,thermal insulation performance and anti-corrosion performance.The thermal insulation coating on the oil storage tank is compared with the storage tank without coating and the common thermal insulation coating in the market.by using the methods of numerical simulation,field test and economic benefit analysis,it is proved that the new thermal insulation coating has a good thermal insulation effect,which is better than the common thermal insulation coating on the market,and can effectively reduce the VOCs emission of oil storage tanks.After a 20 000 square meter oil storage tank is painted with thermal insulation coating,the temperature maintenance cost in winter is reduced by (?)161500 ~ (?)196500,and the economic benefit is considerable.The new thermal insulation coating has high reflectivity,good overall sealing and low heat transfer coefficient,which only needs to apply a thin 2mm on the tank wall and top to achieve a good thermal insulation effect.and basically does not increase the tank top load,low cost,simple construction,energy saving and environmental protection,which is a further proof of the transformation of China’s production and life to resource conservation,energy saving and emission reduction,and sustainable development.
