Study On The Application Of Lingnan Traditional Decorative Patterns In Ceramic Tableware

Lingnan traditional decorative patterns are the artistic crystallization formed in the context of constant eclecticism and inclusiveness in Lingnan region.As a part of Lingnan culture and art,Lingnan patterns are widely used in ceramics,architecture,Cantonese style furniture and other fields.The characteristics of openness,inclusiveness,innovation and pragmatism formed by Lingnan culture in the process of absorbing foreign culture are also presented in Lingnan patterns,so as to carry out innovation and development in this environment.Lingnan pattern plays an important role in Chinese traditional pattern design and fully embodies the social customs,characteristics of The Times and ethnic characteristics.The certain extent,on the one hand,the inheritance and development of Lingnan traditional decorative art can make the public place expectations on the traditional ethnic culture;on the other hand,the inheritance and development of Lingnan traditional decorative art can also make us have a new understanding of the traditional ethnic art.At the same time,it also gives a new meaning to the traditional art of our country during the course of development.The paper analyzes the historical development and cultural characteristics of Lingnan traditional decorative patterns and summarizes the development history,style type and production process of ceramic tableware.According to the development and social situation of contemporary ceramic tableware,the application principle of traditional decorative patterns in ceramic tableware is summarized and the traditional pattern of Lingnan is organically integrated with tableware design.Starting from Lingnan’s traditional patterns,this paper summarizes and arranges Lingnan’s unique traditional decorative patterns,and applies them to ceramic tableware so as to provide certain references for future researchers.The decorative patterns with Lingnan characteristics are selected as the extraction elements,and the patterns and shapes are redesigned.In the process of continuous exploration and practice,the author tries to contact and discuss with contemporary ceramic design,and finally designs a set of ceramic tableware design works with Lingnan folk characteristics.
