| With the development of society,early childhood reading has become a topic of widespread concern in society.To this end,children’s picture book reading places have been set up in various places,and a good reading environment has the best and most effective effect on the cultivation of cognition and reading interest of 3-6-year-old preschool children.The picture book museum is booming as a place with unique advantages,and the furniture design in it plays an important role in improving children’s reading experience and reading ability.However,at present,there are many problems in domestic picture book museums,and the space and furniture are not child-friendly and cannot meet the deep needs of children’s reading.In order to solve these problems in children’s picture book museums and cultivate children’s reading interest and good reading habits,this paper studies and designs children’s picture book museum furniture based on scene theory and takes the process of reading in the picture book museum by 3-6 years old children and their parents as the user use scene of furniture.This paper sorts out and analyzes the research status and the development of scene theory of children’s public reading space furniture such as picture book museums at home and abroad through literature retrieval method and induction method,summarizes and summarizes the scene characteristics and factors related to it,uses network research method and field research method to understand the use of existing picture book library furniture and children’s public reading space furniture in the market,and classifies and summarizes according to product characteristics.Then,the interview method and questionnaire survey method combined with scene theory were used to summarize and analyze the user usage scenarios and needs,as well as the shortcomings of existing furniture design,from the perspective of children and parents.KJ method,KANO model method and FAST method are used to analyze user needs and user use status,and the requirements are transformed into functional design,so as to form product design solutions and evaluate them.The main findings of this paper are as follows:(1)Combined with product design thinking,the practice method and process of furniture design of the picture book museum with scenario-based thinking as the core are summarized,that is,first analyze the needs of the objective scene of the picture book museum furniture,then determine the product function design goals and carry out the design,and finally verify the scene of the picture book museum furniture design scheme.(2)Through the investigation of the furniture of domestic children’s picture book museums,it is found that the current picture book museum has problems such as uneven construction,chaotic functional division,single space,lack of design and childlike furniture,adult scale,single form,lack of unified shape,insufficient quantity,and difficulty in integrating into the surrounding environment.In the case of foreign children’s reading space,the furniture design is more child-centered,with a strong sense of design,and the modular and splicable design is adopted to meet different functional needs and space needs.(3)Use qualitative and quantitative analysis and combine scenario theory to summarize and analyze user needs in different usage scenarios from the perspective of users,clarify user behavior,draw user journey maps,and construct target scenarios.The KJ method is used to classify the previous requirements,divide different demand levels,construct the attribute model of the KANO function,obtain the hierarchical order,and use the FAST method to establish the design requirements function tree to clarify the design method of each requirement.(4)Transform user needs into design strategies,carry out functional positioning and design,and propose a set of furniture design schemes based on user scenarios,including three different scene schemes: organization activity scene,leisure reading scene and parent-child reading scene.Establish a product evaluation system,invite target users to evaluate the design scheme,and verify the guiding value of scene theory to the furniture design of the picture book museum through design practice. |
