| With the development of society,people pay more and more attention to energy conservation and emission reduction,the issue of gas safety received wide spread attention.As the key product of gas pipeline leakage monitoring,combustible gas detector technology has been researched by more and more people.However,the harsh environment of the installation site may lead to the decline of its metering characteristics,resulting in the alarm failure of gas leakage,and seriously endanger people’s life safety.In order to study the performance of detectors in different environments,several representative combustible gas detectors are selected as the research objects.According to its working principle,semiconductor type,catalytic combustion type and laser type combustible gas detectors are selected;Combustible gas detectors used in household and industry shall be carefully selected according to their working condition.By constructing the test platform of combustible gas detector,the characters of detector are got.the alarm action value,indication error and repeatability of the detector are tested,and get the accuracy and stability of its metering characteristics under harsh environment.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Combustible gas detectors for domestic and engineering use in a single environment are investigated in this paper.Consider of the harsh environment that often occurs,the performance change of combustible gas detector under the environment is explored by simulating the environment condition of high temperature,low temperature,dust,water immersion,ethanol gas of different concentrations and acetic acid gas of different concentrations.The test results show that the indication error of domestic combustible gas detector will exceed the standard range,when the concentration of ethanol gas exceeds 1500 ppm and the concentration of acetic acid gas exceeds 6000 ppm.After the environmental adaptability test of the project combustible gas detector,the indication error changes from-1 ~ 1%FS to-3.85 ~-1.35%FS,and the repeatability changes from 0.05 ~ 0.8% to 0.25 ~ 1.45%,which is still within the standard range.(2)This article focuses on the measurement characteristics of combustible gas detectors used in domestic and industry under multifactor environment.The test results show that under the high temperature(50℃)condition,the indication error will exceed the standard range when the concentration of ethanol gas exceeds 500 ppm and the concentration of acetic acid gas exceeds 1000 ppm.After the immersion test of the detector,its indication error and repeatability change amplitude are worse than in a single environment.The experiment intuitively shows that the influence of multifactor environment on the performance of combustible gas detector is worse than that of single environment;For the combustible gas detector,the influence of water immersion on its performance is more obvious. |
