Evaluation Of Ecological Experience Service Function Of Giant Panda National Park

In October 2021,The State Council announced the establishment of the first batch of pilot national parks,including giant pandas,and identified ecological experience and environmental education as one of their important functions.However,due to the short establishment time,managers and academics lack a clear understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of the protected areas in the Giant Panda National Park,which hinders the integration of the existing recreational resources in the Giant Panda National Park.How to achieve the goal of environmental education through the improvement of ecological experience service function has become an urgent practical problem that needs evaluation theory as the basis.Based on the research on the status quo of ecological experience service function of Giant Panda National Park,this study established an evaluation system of ecological experience service function of Giant Panda National Park with 1 target layer,3 criteria layer and 16 index factors by using analytic hierarchy process.Seven experimental sites covering protected areas of national parks,such as nature reserves,scenic spots,forest parks,World Natural Heritage sites,and popular science education bases,were selected in Sichuan Park,and 728 visitors were interviewed by quantitative questionnaire for each index using this evaluation system,and the index scores of each level and overall quality classification of each point were obtained.Through the analysis and summary of these 7examples,the optimization direction of the ecological experience service function of the Giant Panda National Park was finally proposed from the macro level,and the actual construction strategy of the ecological experience service function was proposed from the micro level.Specific research conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on the preliminary field investigation of 12 natural protected areas in Sichuan Park,the current characteristics of ecological experience resources in Sichuan Park were mastered,the preferences of 172 visitors in the content and category of ecological experience were preliminarily investigated,and the main problems existing in the ecological experience service were summarized as follows: The value orientation is single,and the education of natural and cultural knowledge is the only form.The experience and value of natural ecosystem in cultivating public ecological consciousness,shaping environmental ethics between human and nature,building public positive behavior,and environmental skill education are ignored.Lack of accessibility,lack of regional linkage perspective;Security risks exist;The form of experience is generally single,failing to integrate into the natural and cultural connotation,lack of vitality;Sites with environmental interest and multi-sensory experience,rich visual layers and landscape types,fail to make the most of their advantages;The integration of regional culture is of low quality,divorced from ecological experience itself,traditional form and lack of innovation.On this basis,seven objects of evaluation practice are selected,and the status quo and utilization of their ecological experience resources are thoroughly sorted out.(2)The ecological experience service function evaluation system of Giant Panda National Park was established.The weights of the three criteria were as follows:experience effect(0.5987)> service foundation(0.2221)> environmental resources(0.1793).(3)Using the constructed evaluation system,728 visitors in 7 typical natural protected areas in Sichuan Park were interviewed by field questionnaire about ecological experience service function,and quantitative scores of each index of each experimental site were obtained.The ranking of each experimental site is as follows: ⅱ-Dujiangyan Panda Valley(4.28 points)> ⅱ-Bifengxia Scenic Area(4.23 points)> Ⅲ-Dengchigou Scenic Area of Fengguzhahai Nature Reserve(4.02 points)> Ⅲ-Dujiangyan Chinese Giant Panda Park(3.89 points)> Ⅲ-Shenshuping Base of Wolong Nature Reserve(3.88 points)> Ⅲ-Tianshengqiao Scenic Area of Longcanggou National Forest Park(3.82 points))> Ⅲ--Baishuihe Nature Reserve Zhongba Protection Station(3.66).(4)The advantages and disadvantages of each point in the criterion level evaluation are obtained: the service foundation of Zhongba Protection Station in Baishuihe Nature Reserve and Tianshengqiao Scenic Spot in Longcanggou National Forest Park is poor;the environmental resources and experience effects of Zhongba Protection Station in Baishuihe Nature Reserve,Shenshuping Base in Wolong Nature Reserve and Chinese Giant Panda Park in Dujiangyan are relatively deficient;Dujiangyan Panda Valley and Bifengxia scenic spots have excellent performance in all aspects.(5)The optimization strategy of ecological experience service function of Giant Panda National Park was obtained from macro and micro perspectives.Macroscopically,we should improve the basic service system,make reasonable use of environmental resources,and strengthen the effect of environmental education to enhance the ecological experience service function.On the micro level,the optimization strategies of accessibility,safety,popular science interpretation,facility optimization,multi-sensory experience,visual aesthetic level,environmental interest,the utilization of diversified landscape types and cultural characteristics,the enhancement of landscape coordination degree and environmental skills,the exploration of health function,the formation of ecological consciousness,positive behavior orientation,the generation of environmental ethics,the acquisition of natural cultural knowledge and other aspects are proposed.
