| Objective: To observe the efficacy of Xifeng Qinghuo Huoxue Huatan decoction in treating acute phase of ischemic stroke with syndrome of endogenous –wind,fire,phlegm and blood stasis and its effects on serum IL-1β,IL-5,IL-17,TNF-α.Method: 60 acute ischemic stroke patients with syndrome of endogenous –wind,fire,phlegm and blood stasis were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,and there were 30 patients in each group.The control group was given standard western medicine treatment,and the treatment group received standard western medicine treatment and Xifeng Qinghuo Huoxue Huatan decoction.After 10 days of treatment,we evaluated clinical efficacy,NIH stroke scale score,modified Rankin scale score,Barthel index scale score,and the levels of IL-1β,IL-5,IL-17 A,TNF-α.Results:(1)The clinical effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);(2)After treatment,the m RS score and NIHSS score were decreased and BI score was increased in the treatment group(P<0.05),which in the treatment group were higher than that in the control group(P<0.05):(3)There was no significant difference in IL-5 levels between the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).The levels of IL-1β,IL-17 A and TNF-α in the control group after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P < 0.01,P < 0.05).The levels of IL-1β,IL-17 A and TNF-α in the treatment group were lower than those before treatment after treatment(P <0.01),and the levels of IL-17 A and TNF-α were statistically significant compared with those in the control group after treatment(P < 0.01).Conclusion: Xifeng Qinghuo Huoxue Huatan Decoction can improve clinical efficacy,may be related to the reduction of IL-17 and TNF-α levels in acute ischemic stroke patients with syndrome of endogenous-wind,fire,phlegm and blood stasis thereby protecting brain tissue from damage. |
