Objective:Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of stretching and rotation manipulation combined with acupotomy in the treatment of lumbar quadratus strain. Methods:A total of 60 patients with quadrat lumbar muscle strain in Ningde Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Fujian University of Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2021 were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 30 patients in each group: experimental group(acupotomy combined with pulling and turning manipulation)and control group(acupotomy treatment). The experimental group was treated with acupotomy and then pulling and turning manipulation. The control group was treated with acupotomy only, and the two groups were treated once a week for a total of two weeks.VAS score before and after treatment,JOA score, waist range of motion,IMPROVEMENT rate of VAS score after treatment,JOA improvement rate and occurrence of adverse reactions were used as observation indexes, and data analysis was conducted within and between groups. All data were analyzed by SPSS21 software, with α=0.05 as the detection standard, and P < 0.05 was considered statistically Results:1.There were no statistical differences in age, gender, course of disease, lesion site,VAS,JOA score and waist mobility between the treatment group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05).2.VAS score,JOA score and waist activity were improved in both the experimental group and the control group after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).VAS score,JOA score and lumbar flexion, lateral flexion and rotation activity were compared between the two groups, and there was statistically significant difference(P<0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference in lumbar extension activity between the two groups(P>0.05).3.The improvement rate of VAS score and JOA score were compared between the two groups after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.During treatment, there were 2 adverse events in the experimental group and 1in the control group, and there was no statistical difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Stretching and rotation manipulation combined with acupotomy in the treatment of strain of quadratus lumbosum muscle can relieve lumbar pain and improve the patients’ waist function and mobility. The effect is superior to acupotomy alone, which is worthy of clinical application.
