Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of "Qingli Yuyang Decoction" in the treatment of dampness-heat syndrome of spleen and stomach of gastric ulcer, and to provide a new idea and method for TCM treatment of this disease. Methods: In a randomized controlled study,86 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 43 patients in each group. The observation group was treated with self-made Chinese medicine "Qingli Yuyang Decoction" and the control group was treated with western medicine "Omeprazole" orally. Both groups were treated with a course of 6 weeks.Observed and recorded before and after treatment in patients with TCM syndrome integral, single integral of syndromes, under gastroscope ulcer healing efficacy index and the three conventional, such as liver and kidney function, electrocardiogram(ecg),such as safety indicators, record adverse events, through analyzing statistical data, with the result of the experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of "clear the preventive soup" and security.Results:1.A total of 86 patients were included in this study.A total of 78 patients completed clinical observation and were included in statistics, including 4 patients in the control group and 4 patients in the observation group, with a total shedding rate of 9.3%.2.Curative effect of TCM syndromes:(1)Comparison of total points of TCM syndromes: After the treatment course, the total effective rate of syndrome in the observation group was 89.74%,and the total effective rate of syndrome in the control group was 74.36%.There were statistically significant differences between the observation group and the control group before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there were statistically significant differences between the observation group and the control group after treatment(P<0.05).(2)Comparison of improvement of each single syndrome in TCM: comparison between the observation group and the control group showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05),and both the control group and the observation group could significantly improve the symptoms of each syndrome in TCM.The observation group was better than the control group in improving dry mouth(bitter mouth)and dry mouth(no desire to drink),the difference was significant(P<0.01).However,the two groups had similar effect in improving the symptoms of epigastric swelling(pain),nausea(vomiting),lack of dull food and short yellow urine(P>0.05).3.Gastroscopic efficacy: After treatment, the total effective rate of gastroscopy was84.62% in the observation group and 71.79% in the control group.Statistical analysis showed that there was no difference in gastroscopic efficacy between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.Safety: There was no special discomfort in 2 groups during the treatment period, and no abnormality in the safety indexes such as WBC,RBC,HGB,PLT,TBIL,ALT,AST,ALP,BUN and Cr before and after treatment were found in 2 groups, and no statistical significance was found in all indexes before and after treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusion: "Qingli Yuyang Decoction" has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with dampness-heat gastric ulcer of spleen and stomach, which can not only effectively improve the overall TCM syndrome, but also effectively promote the healing of ulcer surface with good safety.
