| Objective:Ginger-separated moxibustion combined with acupuncture wa s used to treat root sciatica, and the improvement of pain degre e and activity function of patients’ waist and lower limbs was o bserved before and after treatment,so as to provide reliable bas is and new treatment ideas for the clinical use of ginger-separat ed moxibustion for the treatment of this disease. Methods:The study samples were collected from the inpatient Depart ment of the Second Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustio n,The First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of C hinese Medicine from November 2019 to November 2021.The tr eatment group was treated with ginger moxibustion combined wi th acupuncture, while the control group was treated with acupun cture, and the clinical effect was observed.Once a day,six time s a week,12 times as a course of treatment.Ginger moxibustion every other day, three times a week,a total of six times of tre atment.JOA and VAS were recorded before and after treatment, and statistical analysis was performed using SPSS26.0.Results:1.The general data of the two groups, including gender,co urse of disease and age, were compared, with no statistical sig nificance(P>0.05).2.Low back pain Score Scale(JOA Score):before treatment, comparison of JOA scores between the two groups showed P>0.05,with no statistical significance; Before and after treatment, the two groups were compared within the JOA score group, the diffe rence was statistically significant; After treatment, the comparison of JOA scores between the two groups showed that the differe nce was statistically significant.3.Visual analog scale score(VAS score): before treatment, comparison of VAS scores between the two groups showed no st atistical significance(P>0.05);Comparison of VAS scores betwee n the two groups before and after treatment showed that the dif ference was statistically significant. After treatment,VAS scores w ere compared between the two groups, the difference was statisti cally significant;4.Efficacy analysis:the effective rate of control group was73.33%;The effective rate of treatment group was 93.33%.The d ifference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Simple acupuncture and combined with ginger moxibustion can treat sciatica caused by lumbar intervertebral disc herniation. The two treatment methods can relieve the patients’ clinical sym ptoms such as waist movement limitation, lower limb cooling,a ctivity paresthesia and pain, and both have obvious curative eff ects.2.Ginger moxibustion combined with acupuncture is superior to simple acupuncture in alleviating sciatica caused by lumbar d isc herniation, alleviating clinical symptoms such as waist move ment limitation, lower limb cooling, activity paresthesia and pai n,and improving the quality of life of patients. |
