| Objective:In this subject,we used the eliminating dampness dispersing cold dredging meridians decoction combined with rev olving moxibustion to treat the rheumatoid arthritis of cold and dampness blocking type.The eliminating dampness dispersing col d dredging meridians decoction combined with revolving moxibu stion has been proved to be effective in improving the clinical symptoms,laboratory indices and efficacy indices of the rheumat oid arthritis patients,provides new ideas for the treatment of the disease and improves the clinical efficacy of the disease.Methods:A total of 60 patients who met the diagnostic crit eria of the rheumatoid arthritis of cold and dampness blocking t ype were selected from our hospital(15 males,45 females),divide d into two groups according to the random number table method,30 cases per group,named as control and treatment groups.Patien ts in the control group were given Iguratimod tablets 25mg oral ly twice daily for the total 8 weeks of treatment.In the treatme nt group,patients on the basis of control group were applied 300ml of the eliminating dampness dispersing cold dredging meridi ans decoction(decocted with water),one dose daily,divided into t wo doses of 150ml each,to be taken warm after meals,and combi ned with revolving moxibustion therapy:take Ashi points,both si des Shenshu points,Zusanli points,after the routine disinfection,p atient in sitting position,expose the area to be moxibutated full y,using 14mm×110mm moxa strips,Take two sticks,ignite one end separately,put the burning end of the moxa stick 2-3cm above the application site,until a burning sensation is felt,apply moxib ustion in a circular motion at this distance,5 minutes per point,3 times a week,local skin flushing is appropriate.In the treatme nt group,the duration of the revolving moxibustion treatment wa s 4 weeks and the duration of the remaining treatments was 8 weeks.By comparing the laboratory indicators(erythrocyte sedime ntation Rate,C-reactive protein,rheumatoid factor),pain indicators(using Visual Analogue Score)indicators of disease activity(usin g DAS28 score)and the change in the TCM symptom score of th e two groups of patients before and after treatment,SPSS2 6.0 st atistical software was used to process and analyse the collected data.to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of the eliminating damp ness dispersing cold dredging meridians decoction combined wit h revolving moxibustion in the treatment of the rheumatoid arth ritis of cold and dampness blocking type.Results:1.Patients in the treatment group showed better eryt hrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein,rheumatoid factor,V AS and DAS28 score than those in the control group after treat ment,with highly statistically significant(P<0.00 1).2.Patients in the treatment group showed better improvemen t in the TCM clinical symptom score than those in the control group after treatment,with highly statistically significant(P<0.001).3.After treatment,the overall effective rate was 9 3.33%and 70.00%for patients in the treatment group and the control grou p respectively,the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,with highly statistically significant(P<0.00 1).4.After treatment,there was no significant difference in safe ty indicators WBC,RBC,PLT,AST,ALT,BUN and Scr between the two groups(P>0.05),with no adverse reactions or allergic reacti ons.Conclusion:1.The eliminating dampness dispersing cold dred ging meridians decoction combined with revolving moxibustion i s clinically effective in treating the rheumatoid arthritis of cold and dampness blocking type.2.The eliminating dampness dispersing cold dredging meridi ans decoction combined with revolving moxibustion can reduce t he erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein and rheumat oid factor index levels in patients with the rheumatoid arthritis of cold and dampness blocking type,and improve the disease act ivity and clinical symptoms. |
