| Research Objectives:To observe and compare the clinical efficacy of acupuncturing auricular acupoints combined with Siguan acupoints and conventional acupuncture in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder with liver-qi stagnation, broaden the idea of treating generalized anxiety disorder with liver-qi stagnation, and provide more effective treatments for such patients.Research methods:Sixty out-patients with generalized anxiety disorder diagnosed as liver-qi stagnation were selected from the fourth department of acupuncture and moxibustion in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The treatment group has 30 patients, they were treated by acupuncturing auricular acupoints combined with Siguan acupoints. The control group has 30 patients, they were treated with conventional acupuncture. After 4 weeks of continuous treatment,Hamilton Anxiety Scale score,Self-rating Anxiety Scale score and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale score were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Anxiety Scale scores of two groups after 4 weeks of treatment decreased compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group was superior to the control group.P of same group before and after treatment scores and two groups after treatment scores were all < 0.05,the differences were statistically significant.2.The total score of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale and the single score of main symptoms in both groups decreased before and after treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group.P of same group before and after treatment scores and two groups after treatment scores were all < 0.05,the differences were statistically significant.3.The total effective rate in Hamilton Anxiety Scale score after treatment in the treatment group(83.33%)was better than that in the control group(73.33%),P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.4.The total effective rate in Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale score after treatment in the treatment group(86.67%)was better than that in the control group(70%),P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Acupuncturing auricular acupoints combined with Siguan acupoints and traditional acupuncture are effective in treating Generalized anxiety disorder with liver-qi stagnation.2.Acupuncturing auricular acupoints combined with Siguan acupoints is superior to conventional acupuncture in improving Hamilton Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Anxiety Scale and Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Scale score of generalized anxiety disorder with liver-qi stagnation.3.The overall clinical efficacy of acupuncturing auricular acupoints combined with Siguan acupoints in treating generalized anxiety disorder with liver-qi stagnation patients is superior to conventional acupuncture. |
