Purpose: Observing the clinical efficacy of Shugan Tiaoshen acupuncture in treating generalized anxiety disorder of liver stagnation and qi stagnation.Methods: By way of the table of random numbers,62 patients comprised in the research were separated into two groups randomly: therapy group(Shugan Tiaoshen acupuncture group)and control group(conventional acupuncture group),which contained 31 cases each.The therapy group was given Shugan Tiaoshen acupuncture method by using acpoints: Baihui,Shencong(left and right),Touwei,Yintang,Taiyang,Fengchi,Shuigou,Danzhong,Neiguan,Shenmen,Ganshu and Siguan points.The control group used conventional method in selected acpoints: Baihui,Yintang,Danzhong,Neiguan,Shenmen,Taichong,Qimen,Ganshu.Both groups received treatment once a day and six days per week.There were six courses of treatment for patients in total,with one course of treatment lasting seven days.Analyze and compare the HAMA,SAS and TCM syndrome(liver stagnation and qi stagnation)scale scores of the two groups before and after treatment by SPSS23.0,and evaluate the overall therapeutic effect difference between the two groups by the reduction rate of HAMA score.Result:1.The general situation(course of disease,gender,age),HAMA,SAS and TCM syndrome(liver stagnation and qi stagnation)scale scores before remedy were statistically analyzed between the two groups,and the P values were all greater than 0.05.Which showed no significant difference,and the two groups were comparable.2.The scores of HAMA,SAS and TCM syndrome(liver stagnation and qi stagnation)scale in the two groups decreased after treatment compared with that before treatment(P<0.01),indicating that both groups were effective;Compared with the control group,the score of the therapy group decreased more obviously,indicating that the therapy group was better than the control group(P<0.01).3.Overall curative effect comparison: the total effective rate of the therapy group was 90.0%,and the control group was 83.3%.The difference between the therapy group and the control group was extremely significant(P<0.01),indicating that the therapy group was better than the control group.Conclusion:1.Both Shugan Tiaoshen acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can effectively reduce the HAMA,SAS and TCM syndrome scale scores of GAD patients,and improve the symptoms of anxiety and the symptoms of liver stagnation and qi stagnation.The method of Shugan Tiaoshen is obviously better than the conventional acupuncture.2.In terms of overall curative effect,the method of Shugan Tiaoshen is obviously better than the conventional acupuncture.
