Clinical Observation Of Yiqi Ningxin Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Ventricular Premature Beat (Qi And Yin Deficiency Syndrome)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Yiqi Ningxin Decoction in the treatment of functional ventricular premature contraction(Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome),and to initially explore its mechanism of action,so as to provide new ideas and clinical evidence for the treatment of functional ventricular premature contraction in Chinese medicine.Methods:According to the diagnostic criteria,inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients were divided into 30 patients in the control group and 30 patients in the treatment group by the random number table method.Both the treatment group and the control group were given the basic treatment of Metoprolol Succinate Extended Release Tablets,and the treatment group applied Yiqi Ningxin Decoction,150 ml,orally twice a day on top of the basic treatment.Patients in both groups were treated for 3 weeks.The 24-hour dynamic ECG frequency of premature beats,Lown classification,improvement of TCM symptoms,heart rate variability parameters and other index changes before and after the patients’ treatment were analysed,and the data were analysed and processed by statistical software to make an evaluation of the clinical efficacy of this trial.Result:1.TCM symptom scores: After treatment,the TCM single symptom scores and the total TCM symptom scores of both groups were reduced compared with those before treatment(P< 0.05).The improvement of the total TCM symptom scores in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.The treatment group showed better improvement than the control group in the individual symptom scores of palpitations,shortness of breath,body fatigue,night sweating,heartburn and dry mouth(P< 0.05),while the treatment effect on dizziness symptoms was comparable between the two groups(P> 0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant.In terms of TCM syndrome curative effect,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7% and the total effective rate of the control group was 65.5%.The results of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.2.24-hour dynamic ECG frequency of premature beats: After treatment,the number of episodes of ventricular premature contraction decreased in both groups compared with that before treatment(P< 0.05),and the results of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.In terms of the efficacy of ventricular premature contraction,the total effective rate was 62.1% in the control group and 83.3% in the treatment group,and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.3.Lown classification: The total effective rate of Lown classification efficacy was 48.3% in the control group and 73.3% in the treatment group.The total effective rate of Lown classification efficacy in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.4.Heart rate variability: After treatment,the heart rate variability parameters(SDNN,SDANN,r-MSSD,PNN50,LF,HF)in the two groups showed different degrees of improvement compared with those before treatment(P< 0.05).When comparing the two groups after treatment,the improvement was better in the treatment group than in the control group(P< 0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:Yiqi Ningxin Decoction combined with Western medicine has advantages over Western medicine alone in treating functional ventricular premature contraction(Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome).It can more effectively relieve patients’ clinical symptoms,reduce the number of episodes of ventricular premature contraction and lower patients’ Lown grade;improve heart rate variability and improve autonomic function.
