Clinical Observation On Curative Effect Of Fufang Kushen Decoction Combined With Fuzhiqing Ointment On Acute Anal Eczema (Damp-heat Immersion Syndrome)

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of of Fufang Kushen decoction combined with Fuzhiqing ointment on acute anal eczema(damp-heat immersion syndrome).Method:A total of 60 patients with acute anal eczema of damp-heat immersion syndrome who were treated in Outpatient of TCM&Western Medicines Combined Coloproctological,Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from July 2021 to February 2022 and met the inclusion criteria were enrolled.Using a random number table,they were divided into treatment and control groups,with 30 patients in each group.The treatment group was given fumigation and washing with Fufang Kushen decoction combined with Fuzhiqing ointment for external use,while the control group was given mometasone furoate cream for external use,for consecutive 14 d.The degree of perianal pruritus,exudation,rash morphology,area of skin lesion and quality of life were scored before and after treatment,to evaluate the efficacy of the two groups.Additionally,the incidence of adverse reactions was recorded.The patients were followed up for one month after treatment,and the recurrence of the two groups was evaluated.Result:(1)The two groups showed no statistical differences in gender,age,course of disease,or the scores of perianal pruritus,exudation,rash morphology,skin lesion area and quality of life before treatment(P>0.05),suggesting comparability.(2)After treatment,the total effective rate and recurrence rates were 93.3%and 10%in the treatment group and 73.3%and 30%in the control group.The total effective rate was statistically different between the two groups(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,perianal pruritus,exudation,rash morphology and skin lesion area scores of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).(4)After treatment,perianal pruritus and rash morphology scores in the treatment group decreased more significantly than those in the control group(P<0.05),but no statistical differences were found in exudation and rash area scores(P>0.05).(5)After treatment,the scores of pruritus,self-abasement and embarrassment,daily life,social contact and entertainment,work and study,interpersonal communication and medical burden in quality of life problems of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).(6)After treatment,the scores of pruritus,self-abasement and embarrassment,daily life and interpersonal communication in the treatment group decreased more obviously than those in the control group(P<0.05).(7)During treatment,no obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups.Conclusion:(1)1.Fufang Kushen decoction combined with Fuzhiqing ointment presents high efficacy in the treatment of acute anal eczema(damp-heat immersion syndrome).Its total effective rate is higher than mometasone furoate cream,and it improves perianal pruritus and rash morphology more obviously than mometasone furoate cream.(2)Fufang Kushen decoction combined with Fuzhiqing ointment is superior to mometasone furoate cream in improving patients’ quality of life,with a lower recurrence rate and no obvious adverse reactions.
