Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis With Cold And Dampness Arthralgia By Penetrate-Pressure Needle-Knife Combined With Concentrated Hot Moxibustion

Objective:Through the Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife combined with Concentrated hot moxibustion treatment of cold dampness type knee osteoarthritis,the purpose is to eliminate or reduce the patient’s knee pain,improve the recovery of its movement,activity function,improve or correct the deformity of the knee joint,slow down the process of the disease,improve the quality of life of patients.It provides a feasible treatment plan for the treatment of KOA,and then promotes the clinical application of Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife and Concentrated hot moxibustion as appropriate techniques of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:From December 2021 to December 2022,80 patients with knee osteoarthritis of cold-dampness obstruction type were randomly divided into observation group and control group,40 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife combined with concentrated hot moxibustion,while the control group was treated with concentrated hot moxibustion.Observation group:Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife 1/7 days,heat moxibustion 1/day,continuous 5 days,stop 2 days;control group:concentrated hot moxibustion 1 times/day,for 5 days,2 days;the two groups were treated for 5 courses,1 week as a course of treatment.The corresponding data were statistically analyzed before treatment,after the end of the treatment cycle and 3 months after the end of the treatment cycle.Results:1.There was no significant difference in age,gender,Lysholm knee function score,VAS score,TCM symptom score and knee temperature between the two groups before treatment(all P>0.05).2.After treatment,there were statistically significant differences in Lysholm knee function score,VAS score,TCM symptom score and temperature difference around the knee joint between the two groups(all P<0.05),and the improvement of symptoms in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).After statistical analysis,the total effective rate was 92.5%in the observation group and 77.5%in the control group.3.After follow-up statistical analysis,there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups after treatment and 3 months after treatment,It indicates that the effect of Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife combined with Concentrated hot moxibustion and Concentrated hot moxibustion in the treatment of cold and dampness obstruction KOA can be maintained for a while after treatment.Conclusion:The treatment of knee osteoarthritis with Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife combined with Concentrated hot moxibustion and simple Concentrated hot moxibustion can reduce the knee pain of patients to a certain extent,improve the recovery of their motor and activity functions,and improve the deformity of knee joint.However,the effect of Penetrate-pressure Needle-knife combined with Concentrated hot moxibustion is more significant than that of simple Concentrated hot moxibustion,which can be used as a new type of suitable technology for traditional Chinese medicine.
