| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Ginseng Siwu Decoction in treating chronic heart failure syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis combined with anemia,and discuss its influence on improving heart function,TCM syndrome,exercise tolerance,cardiac ultrasound index,markers of heart failure and hemoglobin.It provides a new method for treating chronic heart failure with anemia.Methods: A total of 60 patients in outpatient and ward of Heart disease Department of Shandong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and divided into control group and treatment group with 30 patients respectively according to random number table method.The control group was given standardized Western medicine treatment according to the guideline,and the treatment group was supplemented with Ginseng Siwu decoction for 8 weeks.The changes of TCM symptom score,TCM symptom efficacy,cardiac function grading efficacy,6-minute walking distance,cardiac ultrasound index,amino terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-pro BNP),hemoglobin and transferrin degree before and after treatment in the two groups were observed,and analyzed by statistical methods.Results: After 8 weeks of treatment,the disease conditions of both groups were significantly improved.(1)Efficacy of cardiac function: The improvement of cardiac function in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)TCM syndrome scores: The treatment group was superior to the control group in improving shortness of breath,thorax pain,wheezing,lower limb edema and the total scores of TCM syndrome,with statistical significance(P<0.05).In terms of palpitation,the two groups had similar efficacy,with no statistical significance(P> 0.05).(3)The curative effect of TCM syndrome: the effective rate was 90.00% in the treatment group and 73.33% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)Six-minute walking distance: The treatment group was better than the control group in improving the walking distance,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Cardiac ultrasound indexes: the reduction of left ventricular end-systolic diameter and end-diastolic diameter in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group,and the increase of left ventricular ejection fraction and output per wave was greater than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).(6)Laboratory indicators: The decrease of NT-pro BNP in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group,and the increase of hemoglobin and transferrin saturation was greater than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).(7)The study was successfully completed in both groups,and no adverse reactions or toxic side effects were found.Conclusion: Modified Ginseng Siwu decoction can improve the heart function,increase ejection fraction,relieve clinical symptoms,increase activity endurance,and increase hemoglobin level in patients with chronic heart failure syndrome of Qi deficiency and blood stasis combined with anemia without obvious adverse reactions. |
