Research On Professor Yi Wei’s Treatment Of Infantile Cough Variant Asthma With Wind Evil Invading Lung Syndrome Based On Data Mining

Objective: Through the use of data mining technology,this paper analyzes Professor Yi Wei’s prescription and diagnosis and treatment ideas for the treatment of cough variant asthma with wind evil attacking the lung syndrome in children,summarizes Professor Yi Wei’s medication rules and academic thoughts for the treatment of cough variant asthma with wind evil attacking the lung syndrome in children,and provides a useful reference for the treatment of cough variant asthma in children with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: Collect medical cases of children diagnosed with cough variant asthma who received outpatient treatment from Professor Yi Wei at Xianhu Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine between September 2017 and September 2022.Based on inclusion and exclusion criteria,select eligible cases and collect relevant medical history,TCM and Western medicine diagnoses,and TCM prescriptions.Use Microsoft Excel software to conduct frequency,category,taste,and meridian analysis of TCM prescriptions,and use IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 and SPSS Modeler 18.0 to perform cluster analysis and association rule analysis.Results: This study included 354 qualified prescriptions,including 67 traditional Chinese medicines,involving 15 categories.(1)The frequency of use of traditional Chinese medicine is more than100 times,and the cumulative frequency is more than 85%.There are 20 kinds of drugs.The frequency of use is from high to low,including magnolia,cicada slough,licorice,almond,loquat leaf,aster,ephedra,belamcanda chinensis,gypsum,houttuynia cordata,schizonepeta tenuifolia,bombyx mori,semen brassicae albae,trichosanthes,earthworm,stemona,flos inulae,paris polyphylla,pericarpium citri reticulatae,ardisia japonica.The drugs are mainly expectorant,antitussive and antiasthmatic,relieving drugs,antipyretic.The most commonly used drugs are warm drugs,followed by cold drugs.The most common taste of the medicine is pungent and bitter,followed by sweet.The top four meridians of drugs are lung meridian,stomach meridian,liver meridian and spleen meridian.(2)Through association rules,we can get 8 groups of commonly used combinations of two traditional Chinese medicine association rules: loquat leaf-magnolia,almond-magnolia,cicada slough-magnolia,loquat leaf-cicada slough,almond-cicada slough,loquat leaf-licorice,almond-licorice,loquat leaf-almond;10 groups of commonly used combinations of three traditional Chinese medicine association rules: licorice-loquat leaf-almond,cicada slough-loquat leaf-almond,cicada slough-liquorice-almond,loquat leaf-cicada slough-magnolia,almond-cicada slough-magnolia,loquat leaf-almond-magnolia,licorice-almond-magnolia,loquat leaf-liquorice-magnolia,cicada slough-liquorice-magnolia,cicada slough-loquat leaf-liquorice.(3)Through cluster analysis,two kinds of drugs can be obtained.The first kind is trichosanthes,earthworm,ardisia japonica,houttuynia cordata,almond,loquat leaf,licorice,magnolia,cicada slough,aster,ephedra.The efficacy can be classified as relieving the surface,resolving phlegm,relieving spasm and relieving cough.The second category is belamcanda chinensis,bombyx mori,semen brassicae albae,paris polyphylla,stemona,gypsum,schizonepeta tenuifolia,flos inulae,pericarpium citri reticulatae.The efficacy can be classified as clearing heat and resolving phlegm,dispelling wind and relieving cough.Conclusion:(1)Professor Yi Wei believes that "wind" and "phlegm" are the pathogenic factors of this disease.The invasion of external wind triggers the latent wind and phlegm in the body,which then accumulates and obstructs the airway,leading to respiratory spasms and abnormal lung function,resulting in coughing.(2)Professor Yi Wei’s treatment approach for cough variant asthma with wind-evil attacking the lung syndrome in children focuses on the Lung,Spleen Stomach,and Liver meridians,emphasizes the importance of treating the Lung and Spleen together,harmonizing the Liver and Lung,and treating the Lung and Nose together.Most of the drugs are pungent and warm expectorant,cough and asthma relievers,and surface relievers,which are intended to warm the phlegm in the body and drive away the evil of external feeling.The second is antipyretic drugs,which can clear the evil of heat and phlegm heat.At the same time,it is compatible with drugs for calming the liver and calming the wind,such as bombyx mori and earthworm,which are intended to enter the meridians and search for wind to relieve spasm and asthma.According to the symptoms of the child and the nature and flavor of the drug,the compatibility should be cold and warm,spicy and bitter,and the attention should be paid to protecting the child’s vital-qi,expelling evil without hurting the positive.
